That guy really seems to be running up the boards.

I just read Mayocks Mock and he had us taken Collins...I wonder if he would have had us taking Randall...In his mock we could not because the Eagles took Randall before us.

Crazy.

People talk about Byron Jones raising up the mocks...I think Randall going in the first would be a bigger jump.

But to be fair, the CB class is much stronger this year where the Safety class is much weaker so the Safeties will get overvalued this year.

With Brulger talking on the draft show yesterday and saying that he talked to Randall and Randall said the team that showed him the most interest was the cowboys....man alive I don't mind if that is true, I just hope it does not mean we take him at 27.

Nooooooooooo

I will go a little further and add an oh hell to the front of that. Not in the first round. The second begins to get a little more palatable, but his tackling and poor angles make him questionable even there.

I just do not understand the allure, nor do I understand how a player can vault from mid-round status to the point he is at now with no games being played. I have watched whatever I can find on him and I keep looking for what it is that they supposedly see and I just don't see it.

Wouldn't be surprised. We've wanted to draft a safety in the first for years.

I just don't see first rounder with Randall

Me too. First thing I watched on him was him guessing on a simple run play, completely running himself out of the play, and the runner going for a long TD. The play would've been a simple 10 yd pickup if he had done his job.

I won't watch the rest of the draft if Randall is our pick at 27. Would completely kill it for me.

If they want a safety with range, then take Rowe in the 2nd. I feel a lot better about that player.

This. I would be okay with either guy if Dallas were to trade out of the first, but the first seems pretty steep.

I say all this knowing that I know less than the people that are making those decisions, but I will still show much ignorance based hatred of the decision!

Rowe, Byron Jones and Rollins, all of which are better to convert to FS than Randall.

You can even add PJ williams to your list of corners who can transition to saftey that can be better than Randall.

the more i watch Randall the more i am convinced he cant play single high in the NFL,that would be an utter disaster.so he either has to play SS vfor us or play the slot, dont see the need to use a 1st on this guy.
