I'm not sure if these stats have been posted here, but I just stumbled across them and had to share.

Below is a look at Bledsoe's numbers w/ Adams in the starting lineup and then without Adams. I think its safe to say that when Hotel comes back (and don't forget, he had 107 consecutive starts before he went down - the guy is not exactly injury prone), we'll be just fine.

WITH
Games - 6
Comp/Att - 124/196
Yards - 1,663
Comp% - 63.3%
TDs - 11
INTs - 4
Sacks (yards) - 13(-93)

WITHOUT
Games - 10
Comp/Att - 176/303
Yards - 1,976
Comp% - 58.1%
TDs - 12
INTs - 13
Sacks (yards) - 36(-202)

I do not suppose you have the rushing numbers with and without Flozell do you?

if Flozell was coming back from the FLU, I would agree on the statement we will be fine!!!

most OL take 2 offseasons to fully recover from those injuries... ie look at the excuses used for ALJ and Peterman who are alot younger than FLO!!!

this is not like MADDEN!!!!

What's it going to be then, eh?

No kidding. In Madden, I trade Greg Ellis for a 1st rounder. In Madden, I address the OL with two 1st round picks in the first offseason (my original one + Greg Ellis trade)....unless a stud CB is there for the taking, I draft OT, OG.

Kosier is on the bench in year two. And as soon as it makes financial sense, I cut Kosier.

And I develop Pettiti at RT FWIW. And I usually look at center in round two of the draft, so Al Johnson becomes the backup; Gurode gets cut.

If only it was real life....and not Madden....

Funny, Jon Jansen looked pretty good just a year removed from a ruptured achilles which is a worse injury than a knee.

If he was a running back or receiver I'd be worried, but he's not, so I'm not.

And going by last year's numbers, Bledsoe was on pace to have 29 TD's and 11 INT's if Adams had stayed healthy.

!!!! All I am saying is that the guy is human!!!!

RANCH HEADS can give excuses to ALJ and Petermam but expect FLO to pick up where he left off and some of u will expect him to play better!!! I dont think that is fair to FLO let the guy put on pads before we start counting passing yards!!!

You guys will be the first to call for his replacement/release... probally for Columbo or Fabini I'm sure or someone in the draft/FREE AGENCY then dog him like u do others who leave the team!!! while u give excuses for ALJ getting blown back into the QB every other play and Peterman not sniffin the field as a high 3rd round pick!!!

give FLO the respect he deserves... If I called FLO the teams MVP u would be beating your chest for everyone but him!!!

oh and that Jansen thing was funny...

:lmao:

can we use Jansen to judge every injury or is it just knee injuries? I wonder if Steeler fans compare Big Bens motorcycle injuries with Jansen?

the examples I used are with the same injury under the directive of the same TRAINING STAFF!!! catch up (unless u r those who feel the knee injuries of ALJ and PETERMAN are no excuse for their play)!!!

sad

So you can cite different injuries and call them the same?

Peterman shredded multiple knee ligaments. And Johnson had microfracture surgery - both different from Flo's ACL.

Sounds like it's you who complains one way or the other, not the rest of the board.

Yeah, same injury. Guess again, Junior. Time to go back and do your homework - again. And another thing, the point being made is that Adams will be better than "Terrible" Tucker. And I'd consider an achilles injury at least as severe as Flo's knee.

What on earth does this mean?

It's what Commander fans call Cowboy fans. It stems from another Message board called "The Ranch". Commander fans hate the members of that board and so some call all Cowboy fans Ranch Heads.

Mont is slipping and letting us know what team he really pulls for.

It won't shock me if Flo has some injury residue come September that compromises his play a bit. Its certainly not unheard of. There is no reason to think that will be real significant though.

I think Johnson & Peterman's year 2 performances suffered more from the fact that they were still rookies after their year long rehabs rather than lingering physical issues. Having to work out the inexperience while also shaking the physical rust off would be doubly difficult.

I think most folks probably feel that even an 80% Flo is many times better than Torrin Tucker was. Thus the optimism.

Not sure how you'd feel anyone is disrespecting Flo in this. Quite the contrary.

He's trying to use the Jedi mind trick on us weak minded Cowboy fans, no doubt.

Cowboy Fan: "Wow! We're going to be so much better with Flo back! Look at these stats showing how much better Bledsoe played before Flo went out!"

Mont: "You really don't like Flo!"

Cowboy Fan: "I really don't like Flo, though..."

Mont: "You think he sucks."

Cowboy Fan: "Flozell Sucks man!"

Mont: "Anyone but him would be MVP of the offense."

Cowboy Fan: "I think Peterman is MVP."

Mont: "May the force be with you."

We did miss Adams.....

but didn't Vinny and Carter also light it up the first 5 or 6 games and then tailed off....

I think the struggles our O had is more complicated than just missing Adams....JMHO
