Count on one thing this year: your coach, your quarterback and your two receivers are going to give 100% effort, perhaps for the first time in their star careers.

You won't have Parcells saying he's going to a new team one the eve of the Super Bowl. You won't have Drew being an overpaid franchise kidult making stage dives on like he's on E. You won't see Keyshawn writing a book. You won't see Terry acting like a girl named Terry.

These guys are seasoned veterans in the twilight of their careers and with something to prove. Let's hope they can all stay healthy this season.

Pretty much everything you're talking about there is a load of crap. Parcells had every right to go to a new team after the way Bob Kraft treated him, Drew Bledsoe has done nothing but help rebuild the Pats and get traded to a lousy team with no commitment to protecting him, all while staying classy about it. Key is a great wideout, which writing a book as a rookie has nothing to do with. Lastly, Terry Glenn may have injury issues, but despite Parcells comments from the past, he is a ball player. I'd like to see you get out there and do his job. lol

Terry deserves a lot of credit for staying in shape. He was always injury prone however. Parcells had pretty bad timing. Drew seemed to turn after the stage dive. It was mid 1999 and the Pats were 6-2 and should have been 8-0 (missed FGs). After that Drew was 7-19 as a Patriot. Brady is since 36-5.
