Brady Quinn!!!

Think about it. He is being trained in a pro-style offense very similar to that of the Cowboys. Also, he is being trained by Charlie Weiss, former assistant to Parcells. This should make for a smooth transition to the NFL. In other words, Quinn would be the perfect fit in Big D.

However, it would take a king's ransom for the 'Boys to trade up to get him in next year's draft. I think it would take the 'Boys 1st and 2nd picks in 2007 and 1st and 2nd picks in 2008 but it would be worth it in my opinion.

What do you guys think?

so u would like to give up on this year to draft him, i think he would high in the first round, last i checked we were making the playoffs and making a run for the superbowl, so that would put us low in the first round

We would have to be lucky and do a Ditka (whole draft for one player), and maybe our first for 2008 to get him. Now if he would turn out to be a great QB then it is worth it- BUT you would have to be VERY sure. And just how sure can you EVER be? Now if Quinn improves on last year, which was pretty great, then he would be the #1 pick without a doubt.

If Quinn plays the exact same way in 2006 that he played in 2005 he'll be the #1 pick.

That said, I think he'll improve a lot next season.

I guess I will just parrott what everyone else thinks.... Brady Quinn might just be the top pick next year if he has even a moderately successful year. In any case, I don't see him dropping out of the top 5... Unless we lose 13 games next year ( I don't remotely see that happening) we don't even get a sniff of Quinn's jock....

Come on guys..... be reasonable. You can dream but you can't hide....

I think he has another year in college and no I don't give up 2 #1's and 2 #2's to go after him or any other players. This is Dallas not Minn.

I would LOVE to get Quinn, and I think most of us would. But unless he bombs next season, which is doubtful...we'd have to give up a boatload to get him. I don't see that happening, but I'd be on board if some deal that made sense could happen.

I doubt we would ever get Brady.

I would like to meet his sister though.

I'm sure Quinn will already be long gone by the time we pick next year, and in all likelihood, our QB of the future is already on our roster.

I would be down with us getting Brady Quinn except that we would have to really suck this year to get close enough to be able to trade down for him. We would have to be in the top 5 of the draft and it would still cost us a bundle. And I sincerely hope we are no where near a top five pick...that would be an excruciating season to live through with the high hopes I have for our team this year.

It is Henson or Romo - I am not saying they will be a franchise QB or anything special, but 1 of them is next in line!

Henson or Romo - Book it.

Sounds great, we can guarantee getting him by going 0-16. Heck, we wouldn't even have to give up an draft picks to move up and get him.

I love it.

Heck, we can go 0-16 from here on in and get any player we want.

Just think ... had we done that over the past ten years, think of the amazing players we'd have on this team.

I will make a prediction here: Brady Quinn is not the next QB of the Dallas Cowboys and Charlie Weiss is not the next head coach either.

It is Tony Romo's future to lose.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

We Cowboys fans have seen something that is seemingly unlikely: The QB who started each of the past three seasons took the vast majority of snaps during that season.

Carter (03), Testaverde (04), and Bledsoe (05) lost no significant playing time due to injury.

There can't be many other teams that had fewer snaps taken by a 2nd QB over the past 3 years.

Maybe this is the year that Romo/Henson gets more snaps.
