Is the perfect example of why and how I became a Cowboys fan 28yrs ago.

No matter the circumstance... this team has a chance. No matter where the game is played, who the players are, who the coach is... the Dallas Cowboys can always find a way. It is the Dallas Cowboys signature in NFL lore, and why they are both the most beloved and hated team in the land.

Sometimes they fall short, but no other team offers the big-stage drama the Cowboys do.

Romo was absolutely awful. But did anyone share the feeling with me that he only needed another opportuniy to win this ballgame about 6 times tonight after he alone put the team in the sinkhole it was in? Unreal.

To me, I think this was a game the he expected of himself at some point. I think he knew it would happen... and I think he feels somewhat "christened" as a superstar to have made it through this game. I've seen the same look on HOF QB's Montana, Favre, Elway, Marino, Aikman etc... it was a blank look of blame and the knowledge of wait til the postgame onslaught lol, but the fire was still on in his eyes the whole time. One more chance. One more, and we will win.... One more. Wow. Big throws at the end yet again. Nice job by Crayton to squeeze the TD on the same EXACT play he dropped vs Chicago.

The defense played gallant football but made some silly penalties only to be bailed out by a horrible pass call that T-new picked. Overall a playoff caliber performance against an inferior offense.

Sam Hurd made some big plays in this game and his effort on the onside kick was superior. Deion Anderson was big down the stretch. Marion. Clutch recovery by Curtis.

Nick Folk is as cool a customer as I've ever seen to hit a bomb of a FG like that.... to be pulled out of an all out celebration to line up and do it again.... I told my brother he's gonna hit it again. He has some serious self discipline to nail that again with his adrenaline probably rattling his knees at that point.

The bottom line is this team will fight to the finish. It may not be as pretty as we would all like it to be all the time. But that is the Cowboy way, and it has been for decades. It's a team game and for the first time in sometime I see a team that plays with confidence for 60mins regardless of circumstance.

This is a big, big win. It will be the poorest game we play all year, and we found a way to pull it out. The '07 Cowboys might not win them all but they definitely will give you and the rest of the NFL their money's worth. Don't nap on this team. This is a dangerous outfit.

Nicely put.

And you're right about Romo. I kept thinking "Oh man, he'll get it right this next time. Just needs another shot at it." I did that for every single turnover. I expect him to be great. It's unexpected when he's not.

It was an off night and he's going to have more of them over his career, but it's still very telling that we maintain optimism and hope with him out there even during a bad game.

I did get the sense that given enough time Romo would lead us to victory. He needed all 60 mins to do it, but he eventually came through with some help from the D, Folk, Hurd and Curtis

Can't disagree with any of that...This kind of game was what everyone seemed to predict and the team still couldn't avoid it...Great win and should give them some momentum regardless of what the pundits will say about it.

T.O. :banghead: ....Sorry, can't let it go...Let's put it this way, I'll drop it when he stops
