The Good

1. Played a tough game against a good team. I think Coach Parcells said it best. "disappointed in the loss, but not disappointed in the effort". At least we could have won.

2. Bledsoe bounced back after that early interception. He has a short memory and thats good at the QB position. He had 2 picks, but he was also involved in all three TD's.

3. Terence Newman - He is a cornerback who does not get picked on and for good reason. His play along with Henry this season is the main reason the defense is in the top 10 in the league right now.

4. Jason Witten - He was very involved in the passing game yesterday. With him getting a lot of looks for Bledsoe the teams we are about to play will now be thinking about him more. Nice to see him be rewarded with a pass going his way on the goalline.

5. Roy Williams - Another big play on that fumble. He is still not the best cover Safety in the NFL, but he continues to make positive plays in the game.

6. 7-4 record with the Giants on the schedule next week. The NFC East title is still very much a possibility.

The Bad

1. We lost another tough game at home. These home games are very critical at this point in the season. Only if...

2. Offensive line - I don't want to single any one of them out because none of them are playing lights out right now. Although I think some are playing better than others. These guys have to find a way to open up some holes for the running game on a consistent basis. I don't care if one guy from the group has to run around blocking all 11 defenders, they are a group and as a group they are not getting the job done.

3. Missing a chip shot FG - Cundiff, Cortez, Whoever it is. These guys need to make these FG's, especially the ones that give you a lead in the fourth quarter.

4. Still no electrifying stuff from Returners - When was the last time a kick/punt returner took one back for six?

5. Bledsoe throwin a couple of bad passes to go along with a handful of great ones. Maybe it was the fact that he threw 44 passes, but he had some clunkers when he had a little pressure coming his way.

6. Conservativity from Coaches - On Offense and Defense. This is the time of the season to let it all hang out and take a win as opposed to letting the other team lose.

7. Injuries - It's the same for every team right now, but that doesn't mean it can't make the bad list.

8. Waiting for Giants game - I hate the wait after a loss. 10 days of waiting around for the team to go out and redeem themselves.

The Bring on the Giants

They lose to Seattle hopefully and then we go into NY and smoke them as well. This team has already proven they can bounce back from a tough loss so that's not a concern, but playing a road game in December does. If it's one thing I am pretty sure of is that the game will be a close one. I do have faith that the Cowboys can pull it out because they are 4-4 in these nail biters so the odds are 50-50. Besides I trust Parcells/Drew over Coughlin/Eli any day of the week in any city in the country. Bring on the Giants!

I can think of several returns that Tyson Thompson has had this year that someone touched him with a pinky finger and he fell down.

He has the tools but needs to learn that returning a kickoff is more than just closing your eyes and running full speed into the first hole you see.
