I would also add the offense struggled in the 2nd half. The game didn't have to go down to the wire.

Schultz’s had a bad game beyond the drop. There was a run play where Zeke was stopped for a ~5-yard loss. The replay showed that was Schultz’s assignment and he just got flat-out beaten badly.

I don;t know about ugly but you guys should accept the reality that Zeke is just a decent back at this point and likely you are watching his last season in Dallas unless he agrees to a big pay cut.

Moore should get two grades. One for the first 15 minutes, one for the last 45.

Do people realize that we scored 14 points in 15 minutes and then proceeded to score only 3 points over the next 45 minutes until we kicked a FG with no time left?

Very good point!!!
This game was better than last week but still needs improvement.

Ugly- Two critical errors that should have lost us the game: Harper's offsides on 4th and 4 gifting the Bengals their first score of the second half which could have changed momentum of the game, and obv Dalton Schultz's ridiculous fumble when we were driving. That was a killer and could've sealed the game way before the end.

Schultz's fumble was a near back breaker but luckily not. The offisides the same.
I think this is part of the Jones curse: stupid mistakes at the worst possible time.

Well he's played two games thus far, looked decent, not special and he has another massive cap hit in 2023, a year when the Cowboys will have some serious cap issues to deal with.

But yeah, the Cowboys are gonna play out the 2023 with a decent TB having like an $17 million cap hit. Hahahahaha.

The fact that they went on a restructure spree this offseason with a few guys but didn't touch Elliott's bloated cap hit for 2022 (over $18 million) should clue you in that they could be looking to pull the rip cord at the first chance they get.

Oh no doubt, good or bad season, he will need to restructure. If he doesn't want to, then yes, most likely they move on. Heck maybe Zeke will want to move on by then.
I like Zeke, but not going to sit here and say keep him because I like him if his cap hit is detrimental to the long term success.
I will re-evaluate this and all others after the season. Not that my opinion matters.
