Newman in press coverage. Ticked me off that he lined up in press coverage, then didn't even touch the WR. Could you please try and jam him.

Their pass rush was nil as well, and their DB's were on our WR's like flies on dodo.

hey I was on the Desean Jackson bandwaggon last year, not the Mike Jenkins one. Our WR's are pretty predictable. They aren't going to run by anyone.

You mean we actually had corners lined up and playing in this game? With the way Smith and Manningham ran around uncovered, and wild, all night I figured we left all the corners at the house and had linebackers out there playing tonight.

As bad as the secondary was, they did not lose this game. Although it would have been nice to get that last stop. Not sure where all the pass rush pressure went though.

The run stopping was fierce today however. The big nose that everyone is clamoring for is already on the roster, starting even. Except (like Haloti Ngata used to) he plays at DE. Igor is the big run plugger. And Rat could play MLB in the NFL, he's that fast.
?
2 receivers with 10 catches for 130+ yards each?
Nah, the DBs and turnovers on the offense cost us the game equally.

Turnovers hurt us badly, without a doubt, but to say this secondary didn't play a huge role in us losing the game is crazy. You can't let two Giants WRs catch 10 balls for 130+ yards a piece and not feel like the secondary played a huge part in our loss.

17 of the Giants' pts came directly off turnovers. That is more than half of what the Giants' offense scored. Eliminate those turnovers and Cowboys win easily. 3 of the 4 turnovers were directly on Romo, no 'ifs' 'ors' or 'buts' about it. The secondary sucked, yes, but the loss was on Romo tonight.

Like I said, it would have been nice to have the D make a stop at the end of the game, but Cowboys had control of this game, they shot themselves in the foot, the guy holding the gun, Tony Romo. The good thing is that I believe Romo can bounce back, the secondary has always been this inconsistent & unreliable, against both the pass and the run.

...cop out. Newman is here on this team and he was certainly there on the field.

This has nothing to do with past players.

At this level of competition all players should be held accountable to what occurs on the field. That's how you get better as a team in a competitive environment.

Stroking your "pet cat" won't make up for the coverage issues Newman had on some plays.

na for real we should just cut them, im sure after the way they played, nobody would care anyways
