that's quite a "fix" considering our trade down with Cincy nets us TWO additional 2nd round picks....also, not sure why you go OC in 5th round, unless he can also play OG....

Dee Fords game is not going to translate well into the pros, he is going to be run at consistently and his small frame is going to suffer dealing with the big left tackles. His big knock is his run defense. We could draft better with the first pick and I agree Donald is not going to make it to 47.

Marinelli rarely asked the WDE to set the edge last year. Oddly, Ware had much less responsibility for stopping the run in the Kiffin/Marinelli scheme than he did in RR's scheme. On most plays Ware was either rushing wide or crashing down inside, neither of which put him in a good position for run defense.

Having said that, I get the impression that Marinelli likes players with more length.
