The Late George Carlin was a funny guy

He was funny when he was younger. Then he just got preachy. Also, I don't find talking in sarcastic tones adds humor.
It's a fine line you tow when you involve politics in your stand-up. I think Bill Maher has done the best job of all comedians of keeping it relevant, funny and not too preachy.

he’s got a list of 10 things that you must obey otherwise there will be eternal fire and torture and brimstone…....BUT HE LOVES YOU!!! AND HE NEEDS YOUR MONEY!!!” - George Carlin on religion
:lmao:

I can count the things I agreed with him about on one hand.
He just didn't get it in many situations.

I would have taken Ohio State OT Josh Simmons. I argued at the time that he could have stepped in and competed for either LT or RT spot. At worst, he could have been the heir apparent to Steele, who’s an absolute liability and weakness on the line.

I don’t think Booker was a horrible pick, but I think a guy like Bass could have stepped in and given you solid work and in a sense made selecting Booker a luxury pick.

I think another solid option could have been drafting Tyler Warren, which would have paired him with Fergy to offer a strong 1-2 punch at TE, and allowed us to move on from Fergy after this season (instead of resigning him to a more expensive contract).

I think he got it most of the time
calling out hypocrisy always makes people uncomfortable and he did it again and again
