Nobody in there right mind would have thought that Pitts and Gmen would be 0-4, Hotlanta 1-3, GB at 1-2, SF at 2-2, and KC at 4-0, and Balty at 2-2. Heck, look at Cincy, they just played probably the game of the year so far against GB, only to lose to Cleveland with a mere 6 points!

The league is in a flux and the teams that can withstand and try to play consistent will be standing in the end. It may not be the teams we have grown accustomed to, but this league can be had. Outside of Seattle, Denver, and NO right now, I see know team that should scare anyone. We just have to keep fighting and hopefully we can get an invitation to the dance.

You can say this every year. It was like this last year. It doesn't really mean anything. Every season is different. The success, or lack thereof, of teams like the Giants and Ravens is irrelevant. Last year, we could've said the same thing when Seattle started off hot. In the end, Seattle was the real deal. It's still early. There are teams you don't have to worry about, like the Packers and 49ers. They'll be there in the end. The Packers started off bad last year too and still made the playoffs. My point is, it doesn't really matter. The league is not any more upside down than in previous years. The only thing that is a little different is the NFC East looks to be the worst they've ever been. It looks like the NFC West from a few years ago when the Seahawks made the playoffs at 7-9. And that Seahawks team didn't do anything in the playoffs. We can very well make the playoffs, but that doesn't mean we won't get humiliated in the first round if we don't make some drastic changes.

On another note, certain teams can start off at 2-2 or 1-3 and get the benefit of the doubt because of the reputation they've established for themselves. The Packers started off slow last year and still made the playoffs. And I doubt the 49ers finish at 8-8 or worse. Dallas, on the other hand, hasn't earn the right to be given the benefit of the doubt. They've been 8-8 the past few seasons, so a 2-2 start is right on schedule.

That Seahawks team beat the Saints in the wildcard round. Hell I'd be happy if we could win a playoff game
