keeping Bill and Drew when we signed TO... we should have gotten a REAL fiery, smart, creative coach. Someone who can gameplan to the players strengths. We are 4 years into BP and have little to show for it. THE REALITY IS... There are teams out there doing MORE with less.

Donovan choked on THREE(INT's) tries to get him one in THAT superbowl.

Did you ever think that no winning one is part of his frustration?

If that is the case then he needs to LISTEN to a man that has some....

So you think starting from scratch with a new coach, new offensive scheme and new QB would have been the best approach?

We aren't paying TO the big bucks to grow and mature with the team as everybody tries to get a handle on what the new coach expects and how the new system works ....... that makes no sense.

Ask me that question IF Payton's Saints beat Philly.......hmmmm......

How is that NEW coach, with NEW team, with NEW QB, with NEW players, with a Rookie working out for them in Nawlin's....

Can't say that I disagree with that.

I completely agree with this. I would definatly have been in favor of keeping KJ and signing a speed guy to go with KJ and Glenn. To me, that would have cost roughly the same as signing TO and would have provided depth at the same time.

The mistake was letting Keyshawn go and signing TO.
While I won't disagree, there is still plenty of time left in the season to completely write off TO already.

If we are pointing fingers, I'd point to Owens' hamstring.

The practice time he missed with the QBs in training camp is a main reason why Owens hasn't been a bigger factor so far.

How much practice do you need for a simple 5 yard slant? come on

Let's just say if the timing is off or the receiver runs a slightly different route than the QB is throwing to a LB will find a gift in his gut.

Drew does that now no matter who he is throwing too.... if not throwing... he leaves it on the ground for the sweeper....

Well, the answer isn't to make it even harder on him.

Maybe if the receivers wore Cow Bells and flashing lights Drew could find them more quickly.

Well, if we could be guaranteed to get as much of an upgrade at QB and head coach as NO got, I guess I would have to agree it could work.

If there was a mistake, it was going out and getting T.O.

We need to get the commissioner to add a 33rd team. Just for T.O. He can go out there and do it all himself and all you new T.O. fans can root for him instead of the Cowboys.

The guy has practiced maybe a total of 4 weeks in over 11 weeks of camp and the season and its the coaches and Bledsoe's fault he can't get involved in the offense!!!!

Please!!!!

TIP OF THE DAY:

If you are looking to turn this into an argument against Bledsoe, the better tactic on your part would be to say that even with the practice time, Bledsoe is so erratic that he'd miss Owens anyway.

Folks would argue against that, of course, but at least you wouldn't be backing yourself in an impossible corner (i.e., arguing that timing, chemistry, and practice reps are irrelevant to a successful NFL passing attack). The impossible corner is too implausible. People already know that timing, chemistry, and practice reps are important.

Better to stick with the erratic Bledsoe angle .... Given Bledsoe's success with Terry Glenn, I don't think the erratic Bledsoe argument is a clear winner, but at least it has a prayer of working.
