the better I feel about our chances. We are not as good as the team that beat the Rams, and not as bad of a team that got spanked by the Saints. As the week goes on, I get a feeling that we will come out and play inspired football. Awful quiet at the ranch, and I like that.

they had better be focused...losing this game would be REALLY bad....a game behind the eagles and tied with the formerly 0-6 giants?

I am disappointed in the season, but we have some players returning that should make a difference. I think we play a close game Sunday win or lose.

How awesome would a last second Romo to Dez game-winning TD be? This time all of Dez lands in bounds of course. That would kill the Giants and their obnoxious fans on so many levels.

The defense needs to step up and defend more closely than it has thus far this year if we're to find success in the Meadowlands. It would be very refreshing to see them playing more man to man, rather than the consistantly loose zone coverage that has blessed our opposition with way too much yardage throughout this season.

Now our receivers, especially the youngsters like Williams and Beasley are considerably more proficient than they were in game one and should find success against a relatively porous NY secondary. Having Austin back to deflect some of the defensive coverage away from Dez should help as well. The Cowboys offense simply must execute better for this game to produce the win so sorely needed for us to retain the Eastern Division lead.

Its all about the d-line geting preasure. If eli sits back with time they will get torched.

I have watched the Giants closely this year and they have a horrific team. Only player who is playing good on their team is Cruz and even he is having an off year. We are head and shoulders better than them and there is no reason we shouldn't go in there and beat them. I feel confident about this game.

Man, I sure hope that around 8PM on Sunday there arent a bunch of very mad / sad Cowboys fans on this board. (myself included) There seems to be an awful lot of confident fans on here.

If the Giants confidence is real and they truly believe what they are saying, we could be in trouble.

I don't think so. They can be as confident as they want, doesn't mean they are better than they are.

I think there's as much reason to be confident as there is not to be. This team just needs to assert itself with more tenacity on the road than it has in the past. If they can do that, there's really no reason to fear the NY Giants. It's not like they've been tearing up the NFL this year.

I agree, It's almost like some fans are disregarding what the Giants have done over the last few years. Just because the Giants started the season 0-6 means nothing. They are currently 1 game behind us and have won 4 straight. I don't want to hear about how bad of a 4-6 team they are. We aren't world beaters either. Hopefully it's a good game between two average teams.

Hopefully we blow the doors off of the Gnats.
