The most beautiful thing about a win Sunday

Salt in an Eagle wound is scrumptiously satisfying. There's nothing as tasty as watching a Sunday implosion in the American armpit of concentrated underachievers and DNA mutations.

If the Cowboys win Sunday (which I think they will), the harshest of harsh reality will be staring Phillingons right in the face.

The hated Dallas Cowboys beat their beloved Eagles TWICE without Tony Romo. Once even without Dez.

All that celebrating when Tony was driven into the turf intentionally in Philly. All that pompous bragging during the preseason offensive displays. All the banners flown over camp about Demarco Murray. All the breaks they could ask for with injuries and suspensions working to their advantage in both games.

They'll be sitting 0-2 against a Cowboys team that isn't even good yet. Easiest of opportunities completely blown. A chance to squash the wounded Cowboys season when it was most vulnerable, and utter failure to do so.

That would just kill them. Might ruin the whole holiday season already, assuming they even bother with it.

Yummy.

The most beautiful thing would be just getting a win. Whether it's against Philadelphia or whoever I don't care. We just need a win. We'd keep our season alive and give Romo a legit shot when he returns to go win this thing. Btw I don't think Romo was driven into the turf intentionally. It was a good football play. He tried to protect his back and as a result injured his collarbone again. I do hate them though. Their fans are truly the scourge of the earth.

Depending on how poorly the losing team plays, this game could quite well place one foot in the grave of the losing coach, if it's not there already.

Garrett's feet aren't even on the figurative cemetery, let alone anywhere near his HC of the Dallas Cowboys "grave".

Anyone who thinks otherwise is wildly underestimating what Jerry thinks of Jason.

Chip on the other hand- he got the keys to the GM office in Philly and it looks like his Madden-style strategy is driving them right into the ground. And they missed the playoffs last year after floundering in the month of December. He may indeed be much closer to that grave.

Too very different situations though.

Agreed, but....

0-6 without Romo, and Garrett starts to lose the locker room.

Chip wants to get back to college or to Tennessee with Mariotta anyway. He's looking for a back door.

3-5, but 3-1 in the division with only two Commanders games left to play in the East, and only one more game without Romo.

Can you hear the collective "OH, ****!" in Philly and New York?

Not only the East saying "OH, ****!" but the entire NFL. No team wants to play a healthy Dallas team in the playoffs

Good points however like I said, how they lose could make the difference. If we start giving up in a blow out loss, I think Jerry's hand will be forced to at least consider it. He didn't build the 8th wonder to be in the cellar of the division, with or without Romo.

Ecstasy or Agony

The highest high or the lowest low

That's what's scary. I go to bed thinking there's still a chance to turn this season around, possibly defeat TB, and return the team to Romo at 4-5, or I go to bed knowing the season is over because our offense without Romo couldn't score on Philly and will face a better defense in TB.

Please....offense, just give us at least 24 points.

The most beatiful thing will be all their fans at the game watching me push an imaginary broom.

Most of the action in Vegas is on the Eagles. Line is now +3 and the money line is also growing.

Garret is not losing the locker room at any time this year.

I seriously hope this ends up being the case. If we can shut up the Philly fans with a victory, that would help alleviate a little bit of the sting from the last five weeks.
