I know, it sounds simple and ridiculous. But it's true.
It's a sign of confidence and control. Acting instead of reacting. Dictating the play and using your confidence to throw off the defense.
Almost everytime a pass play begins with an intended pump fake, it creates seperation and the result is successful.
Whenever I see Romo use it in a confident manner, I feel an instant rush of joy because I know something good is going to happen when the camera pans downfield.
Where was the pump fake today?
