Marion Barber. C'mon, is there any doubt that guy is juiced to the max? He's hardly human.

Something is wrong with this guy, he is a monster.

I wonder how he is on an every day basis. I wonder if he crashes in to doors and stuff at his apartment, and dives into the bed to go to sleep. This is a wild man.

I imagine him to be much like the Kool-Aid guy just bustin' through walls and ****.

He gets his helmet knocked off and the he gets up smiling. It almost seems like he enjoys banging his helmetless head into the turf because he knows even the turf is afraid of him.

He is going to be on the "In the Huddle show this week. It will be interesting to hear some off the field stories by him.

I liked TO's quote (re: Joey Porter's big, stupid mouth):

"I think Marion handled that situation very nicely - getting into the end zone twice," Owens said. "Marion, by no means, is going to shy from anyone. His name should be 'Marion Barbarian' because he has a nose and a knack for the goal line. If there is contact to be made, he's going to make it."

Why didn't I think of that?

I thought Porter's quote was more of a compliment than a diss.

Yeah, I still like the Barbarian in the same role. He would have a short career taking that much abused 25-30 carries a game as a starter. With his limited time out there, he can go full bore, which is a good thing for us.

If (or when) we get rid of JJ, whoever we do get will have a longer career also cause of the presence of the Barbarian, lol. Problem is if we don't get a first round RB with a definite starting pedigree, people will call for MB to start, which is just something that I don't want to happen cause of how effective he is against defenses that have been on the field for a bit.

I love this guy. Getting his helmet ripped off, getting popped by a safety and popping back up and giving him the old "nice hit" slap. It's like Johnston said, when a guy is doing that, on defense you know it's gonna be a LONG *** day.

Heck yeah he's cocky. He sure backed it up yesterday. Very few teams have a player that runs like that.

Whoa! Not even Chuck Norris himself could do that. Wait.... Chuck Norris who?

The downside of this is Barber's most likely is going to have an Earl Campbell type of life post football. Dude takes 3-4 hits every play.

Should we show some foresight and start a MB3 fund, then? Unless he signs one of those deals where he gets a few million guaranteed. Then forget it. (There is no excuse for going broke if you've ever had 2 million bucks or more in the bank)

We aren't gonna run Barber 30 times a game like the Oilers did.

Wade is all too sensitive as to how that turned out.

(Earl was his favorite player)

As Deion Sanders said on NFL Network. Barber runs every play like it is the last play he will ever have.

He won't be as effective that way either.

Either way, we need to sign this guy long-term right now.

MB III reminds me of Hines Ward so much with his fearlessness and love for the hits.I love it.
