The moxie has been there all season. The rest of the team (incl coaches) appears to have caught up. Let's hope that upward trend continues tomorrow.

Isn't it nice to have a quarterback that is a leader! For all the Romo naysayers, not bad for an undrafted free agent.

Hey. I was a naysayer prior to this season and have no qualms mentioning it. He has stepped up and given me what I asked for. That's quality leadership and a stronger focus on the game. I appreciate his hard work and remain hopeful he will someday bring another Lombardi back to Big D.

These "for all the naysayers neener neener" posts make me laugh. It's a freaking message board. Thank goodness for naysayers or else this board would be one big snoozer. ;)

I'm just glad he's playing like a true leader. It looks like he matured right under our very eyes.

Agreed. It's a great thing to behold. That last part of my previous posts wasn't directed solely at you. It was at those that somehow think it's ok to just overlook the obvious and sing kum bah jah 24/7. Is this a message board where differing opinions and ideas are processed or is it choir practice?

No .... I didn't take it personally. I questioned him at the beginning of the season also. Then it seemed like something finally hit him. It's just nice to see him finally be the leader we all hoped he would be. The kind of stuff like volunteering to hold for the kicker when we were struggling. I don't think he would have done that earlier in his career.

I also agree about the different opinions on this board. I enjoy the variety of opinions and many oposts have made me think about things I had never thought of. It's a great forum with a lot of smart Cowboy fans (and a few not so smart ones too). Of course you and me are excluded from the latter!:laugh2:

I do have to eat some crow. I thought Tony would not become the leader that he is right now. I was extremely critical after last year. I forgot that he was not even drafted and needed to some time, experience to right the ship. Crow has never tasted better. :)

Bleu, you should be used to neener-neener posts by now. Get on the right side of an argument now and then and you won't have to endure them. Until then, you just need to take your medicine like a man.

I'm glad to see Romo's growth this season as a leader & protecting the QB while at the same time making something out of nothing to pick up good yardage & throw TDs. I also believe that his growth will continue as he gains even more experience. We all think he's doing well this year but I really believe next year he comes into his own as a top 3 NFL QB & SB winner MVP.

The right side of the argument is always the side i'm on (until it becomes wrong). ;) The spirit of differing opinions lends credence to my mindset. I asked for some improvements from Romo and he delivered. That's far from any reason to take anyone's medicine. Now... had I said Romo would never amount to anything period period period... then, and only then, will I swallow the pills. ;)

Anyone who was naysaying Romo before this season was an idiot. This forum gained nothing by their retardation, and it's a mistake to suggest that it did.

Romo really has matured right before our very eyes this season. Tony did some serious growing up in the month of December. If he has a good game against the Iggles, and we win and take the East, this team could very well be headed all the way to Miami.

You really took about half the board and placed them all on a shortbus (incl me). That said, I won't return the favor the next time you're on the perceived wrong side of an argument. I'll just think happy thoughts. ;)

i dont have problems with those who voiced their concerns that Romo needed to improve. You could tell they wanted for Romo to get better. Its the ones that take joy when Romo makes a mistake, and the ones saying they cant wait until hes gone that irk me. I dont remember there usernames right now, but there are one or two of them on this board that go silent when Romo does well , but the moment he effs up, they show their ugly mugs again. Those are the people that I hope choke on crow.
