Dallas - Well, we all know how close we are to the Super Bowl.

NYG - They just won the Super Bowl.

Philly - They are better than a 0.500 team, IMO. If they actually go get a WR or two, they will be dangerous again. They always seems to be good on defense with J Johnson coaching.

Commanders - Again, not a bad offense or defense. They had a lot of injuries and played well.

It's going to be a very tough stretch, on paper. Hard to tell now till we see who loses what and who gains what in FA and the draft and then there is always the injury questions for any team.

meh...the division always looks like it will be tough this time of year....

I think it will come down to a two team race, Dallas (beucase Im a fan of course) and NY or Philli. I could easily see NY or Philli laying and egg and being sub 500 next year.

I could see the G-men falling back a bit next year as that seems to happen now days with Superbowl teams. They're in it one year and then barely make the playoffs, only to lose round one, or they don't even qualify the next year. The Pats are the only team since the Broncos in the nineties to make it to back to back superbowls.

The Giants have a very good core of young players and apparently, a very smart GM. Plus, $26 million in cap room.

I'd be very surprised if the Giants fall back. I'm not saying they will win it all again, but I expect a playoff appearance.

I am not sure the Giants will fall off next year. A lot will depend upon their DC situation, obviously....

But what you saw tonite.... Eli playing efficiently.... and more importantly, a great pass rush.... that bodes well for them next year.

Watching their front 4 tonite was something else. The pressure was so quick and consistent....

If they keep doing that next year, they'll be in the thick of things again.

We need to fix CB depth/talent, obviously....

But we also need to get more pressure players. Ware/Ellis is not enough. Watching the Giants tonite.... pressure covered up a lot of secondary concerns for them against the Patriot WRs.

I wonder if Strahan will choose to go out on top? Maybe he can take Tiki's job:laugh2:

Exactly. Their '07 draft picks came in handy. The real question is whether or not their DC will still be around and the effect that will have.

Man Dallas blew a wonderful opportunity for a Superbowl title in 2007!

We won't have it all lined up they way we did this year for quite awhile. It still sucks. I will not move my Cowboy hat from the corner where I threw it till we win a playoff game !! :bang2:

specially if the Commanders hire the giants defensive coordinator, its gonna be tough. but i think the good thing about that and our tough schedule is that it will keep us from being 10-1, and as ******** as that sounds, i think having to fight for your playoff spot helps you in the end to stay sharp

It'll be us and NY fighting it out for the next several years for NFC East dominance. I say this because we both have a young nucleus of talented players. Both Philly and Washington are old on paper and will be continually be scrambling around to replace broken parts.

We would have been eaten alive. The Giants played their corners on top of the receivers much of the game. We would have given their receivers a 10-yard cushion.

And the Giants were the best sacking-defense this year.

I don't think the Cowboys would have won with the defensive style, attitude and scheme we play.

This was a maturing year for us.

Now, we know what it takes to go to the Super Bowl by seeing the Giants do it. At least I hope we've learned from this year.

If the Skins grab Spagnolo....I wonder Capers ends up replacing him instead of coming here??

Something I've been concerned about.

i kinda would rather have williams anyway, someone posted earlier that he was going to jacksonville, but i just saw an article on espn talking about him coming in for an interview. they also said that capers could be hired as well, so maybe we can have both
