0-3 Giants
0-3 Commanders
1-2 Eagles
2-1 Cowboys.

We're clearly in the drivers seat, the Giants are a full three games behind us due to the tiebreaker. We completely wiped the floor with the Rams. It's early but we look like a good team and the rest of the division look atrocious.

Waaay too early. Skin was 3 games under .500 last year I think and came back to win the division. Until we at least beat all our opponents in the division at least once I wouldn't be thinking this AT ALL.

The Cowboys have the best defense of all the NFC East teams right now. That makes them the favorite. The Eagles and Commanders give up way too many big plays; and it appears the Giants aren't interested in participating this season. Yes, it's early, but I like to remain optimistic.

NFCE games are always a dogfight, no matter how the other teams are playing right now. The Cowboys won, it was an up week and at home, let's see if they can string some wins together. That's what will get me excited and know they are for real. It is way too early, but you are right, it is ours to lose, just like the last several years.

I agree, the defense is definitely the difference right now. Cowboy's D has been solid the first 3 games and played completely lights out today.

Rob Ryan talked the talk. Monte Kiffin walks the walk. Is he too old? Has the game passed him by? DOESN'T LOOK LIKE IT.

Definitely too early to make any claims for the division title (we all know things can change drastically quickly in this league), but it hasn't looked this good this early for the Cowboys in awhile. I'm happy today.

Far too early for anyone to be in the drivers seat. If we are 5-2 with wins against Philly and Washington, then we can talk drivers seat.

We either have to go out to San Diego and beat the Chargers or come home and knock off the Denver Mannings to avoid being 2-3.

The division is nobody's right now but we certainly look like the best team so far.

A bit too fast there. We're only a game up on the Iggles and 2 games up on the Skins and Gnats. Haven't you noticed our Jeckyl and Hyde personality? This was our ON week. Guess what you can expect next week?

Chargers and Broncos are not going to be the Rams. We can easily wind up 2-3 very soon.

Did you know it's only week 3? Help me to understand what you are talking about?

LOL.

last week, the sky was falling. this week, the division is ours to lose.

last week, we all needed to be reminded that it's a long season and that there's plent of football left to play. looks like we still need to practice saying that mantra.

It's been ours to lose since the opening kickoff.

We clearly were the best team on paper going in to this season.

Late in the 4th quarter, with the game effectively over, they showed Kiffen in the booth yelling at someone downstairs - really chewing him out. I like that kind of attention to detail with the game in hand. That is probably the reason our D was flying to the ball all the way to the end of the game.

It's going to be very hard for the Giants or Commanders to dig out of an 0-3 hole, and I can't see Michael Vick surviving 13 more games taking the pounding he's getting in Chip Kelly's Pac-12 offense. I really like the Cowboys' chances, at least at the moment.

I noticed that same sequence during the broadcast, and liked it as well. What I also liked was the way the backups and 2nd stringers were flying towards the ball late in the game when the starters came out. This year's defense clearly has a completely different identity and purpose than the last several seasons. And I think it's awesome to see it show up so early in the season. I hope they continue to grow and improve throughout the year.

I think they would need to be the Chargers and the eagles, giants, and skins would have to all lose next week for me to have that feeling. becaause if all that happens then the division looks like this

Cowboys 3-1
Eagles 1-3
Skins-0-4
Giants-0-4

The OP said the division is ours to lose.

He is right.

The rest of the division have put themselves in pretty large holes.

We have a lot of work still to do.

But we are certainly in the catbird seat.
