Throw enuff shiznitz on the wall and eventually somethings gonna stick! Wright, Stoerner, Leaf, Carter, Hutch, Henson, Vinny, and Drew Bledsoe. ALL have failed. I mean, your probably NOT gonna lose 9 hands in a row playing blackjack are you? Eventually your gonna be a winner, even if its by sheer luck. WERE DUE. Plain and simple. The more times in a row that you fail the more your chances of success increase if your putting legit effort into it. Me thinks we may very well get lucky and just FALL INTO a good young starting Q.B.

But if you're throwing shiznitz it will remain shiznitz no matter what star you wish upon.

Except that people like Bill Parcells, Ron Wolfe, and Sean Payton say that Tony Romo is anything but shiznitz. Three pretty good talent evaluaters in my book.

Until I found out that BP was sincere about getting Delhomme but low balled him, that didn't bug me. So hopefully he rights that wrong by coming through on Romo. We can only hope.

Also, I feel it's about time we hit on Romo. Then again, Blackjack is skill and luck, whereas QB play is more on the side of skill.

He didn't "low ball" him.

Is shiznitz the same as chicken salad? You know you can't make chicken salad out of chicken.... I think Romo is gonna do well.

Romo is the ninth starting QB that we have had since Aikman, and he wears #9.

At the end of today's Talkin Cowboys, Bill Jones brought up a coincidental comparison with Johnny Unitas. Unitas took over for an injured qb and had a 2td 3int game also in late October 50 years ago. The next week which is 50 years and a day to Romos upcoming start, Unitas won his first game as a starter. Unitas was also an undrafted free agent.

Don't get me wrong, I want this shiznitz to turn into pearls but I have had false hope before. You see I'm a Baylor and Cowboy fan so I've learned not to buy into hype but rather to hope, wait and see.

Actually, Unitas was drafted by Pittsburgh, then cut, then resigned by the Colts.

Although, IIRC, he was drafted late enough he would have been undrafted with the smaller number of rounds in today's draft.

Either way it is early to compare Romo and Unitas.
