Showers is the sleeper and might be the next Romo if he can learn to handle an NFL Playbook and improve his accuracy like Tony did.

Well lets face it most decent qb's are on other teams !!
Nobody we get will step in and run this offense good, except for the handing the ball off part.
Weedon is the starter now ., we just need to get somebody to back him up.
If they got Tebow he would just sit on the bench unless weedon gets hurt or concussed.
The one thing i noticed about tebow was when he ran he was slow.
And he looks a little too bulked up.

I doubt they would get him, they may bring back vaughn. Or go with showers.

Wish Tebow would have just switched positions like Braxton Miller or even Showers. He'd still be in the league and could be effective.

We might want Tebow for same reason Philly wanted Murray. Keeping Murray off Cowboys might have been the real reason for the signing to begin with however the same might be true for Tebow. Philly looked much better in the preseason with Tebow at QB. Might we reverse the field.

I would take Tebow just for the potential to move the ball on the ground.

I feel like we could score 20 points a game just using a zone read offense with some playaction off of it.

Of course i'd stick with Weeden but I don't think that trying to impose our will on the ground is a bad idea.


Regardless i'd like to see a mobile guy brought in that can run.

Why not utilize him the proper way 2 point conversion specialist. That's what he is.

Let's not get stuck on labels like "QB", Tebow is the better football player IMO. What is the difference if Tebow runs for 10 yards or throws for 10 yards? 10 yards is 10 yards.

You might consider him a scrub and I'm not a Tebow fan but hes 8-6 I read hes 8-6 as a Starter and does
bring excitement and a problem to opposing defenses. Remember your talking as backup to Weeden and the
fact this maybe a fallback option for the Eagles. I personally would fear the Eagles much more with Tebow
than Sam Bradford.

Sigh. Teams are 8-6 in games where Tebow was the starting QB. If that's not the perfect example of how treating W-L as an individual stat is ridiculous, I don't know what is.

Those 8 wins include victories by the following scores: 18-15, 17-10, 17-13, 16-13, 13-10. Three of those came in overtime. In all of those overtime games, the game-winning drive came with a short field (two fumble recoveries and a missed long field goal by the opponent). And that was with a team bending over backward to run the offense to best fit his playing style.

Tebow is a scrub.

Well I think they moved on from vaughn, but it just depends on if they can find someone better.
vaughn is familiar to the system and players.
hopefully they get a good bkup and weedon plays decent.
