The officials in this league have a vendetta against this franchise

The refs were horribly biased. Ware gets illegal hands to face right in front of ref on their first big play, no call. Hatcher gets tackled right in front of ref but they call us for pass intereference. The witten play. Hatcher also got tackled on 3rd and 7 in the 3rd and no call. I knew we would have to beat the refs too early on. We almost did

There is no rule for horse collar when the qb is in the pocket. Only when he is out of the pocket. I do agree on the lack of holding calls against the Denver O line. They tackled better then our D line did.

I find it interesting that a tackling method that was declared illegal because of repeated injuries is only legal on quarterbacks, the position the NFL is most out to protect.

How about their pick plays.

The 2 I noticed:

One in the 1st quarter to jump start their offense and the second one late in the forth quarter. A key 1st down.
Both of which their WRs ran into our LBs preventing them from covering the flare passes to the left and both resulting in 1st downs.

Isn't this the same as a WR blocking before the ball is thrown?

If I remember correctly the horse collar rule came after Roy Williams tackled Terrell Owens on a play along the sideline. Stopping Owens in his tracks and blowing out his knee. A QB in the pocket is usually stationary, so probably quite a bit less risk to hurt the player.

yeah Romo had all day to throw because we have the best Oline in history, they never hold.

thank you. You saved me from having to explain. I cannot believe the number of Cowboys fans that routinely blame the officiating. Every week. Its the officials fault that Dallas loses. Amazing.

There was a pass play in the 1st qtr. I was curious about. It was a touch pass to Moreno, they showed the reverse angle in slow motion while the announcers were fawning on how beautiful the Manning pass was, but I noticed that while the ball was still in the air, there was a WR blocking our safety downfield to keep him from making a play on the ball. It wasn't like he was just standing between him and the ball or "boxing" him out, he was actually blocking as if the receiver had already caught the ball. In the least, should have been defensive holding, it was blatant.

Let's not forget the spot on the last DT catch. Shoulda been first and goal but they give them the possibility to get a first down and run out the clock. Game over.

i never ever make posts/threads like this. but it's gotten out of control and it's become obvious. the witten PI and the romo horse collar are called for every other team in the league but us.

if he was in the pocket, its not a horse collar. The Witten one I agree. But judgement calls go for and against every team.

I am never one to use the refs as an excuse for losing............however, there were some really questionable calls in this game. Mainly, the push on Witten in the end zone with the ref looking right at him. That should have been illegal contact from pee wee football on up to the NFL. I have no idea why that was not called.

The second was on Romo getting horsecollard. Sorry, but the guy clearly grab the inside of Romo's pads and pulled him down. That should have been 15 right there.

The holds and the spots you can argu are judgement calls, but these main two calls were highly questionable.

just for those that keep claiming that this does not happen I ask you this: when was the last time we got a call that really mattered? With the game on the line? Versus how many times we get critical penalties called against us.

And the fact that DeWare has fewer calls on holding then any other top Pass Rusher in the league.

I'm not sure anyone else saw it but in Denver's first TD the oline almost took Sims head off. That's 2 weeks in a row that a team has gotten away with tackling our defense by the neck

This is loser talk.

You are wrong, my friend. I don't know if you can call it a vendetta but the calls he cited were in fact horrible officiating. Witten getting pushed out of bounds in front of the ref and the horsecollar on Romo were blatantly wrong, even the announcers talked about it. Garrett is still not an NFL head coach and Romo finds a way to blow it when it counts but the refs were way off today. I for one am tired of seeing our DL horse collared as they rush with no holding calls being made.

this team is 8 and 8 again, as they have been for the past 15 years. Cowboys fans revolt, stop buying this crappy product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
