The One Big Mistake About Last Night's Game

That was my only real complaint with the coaching last night. Thoughts?

I think that play and the three 3rd and 2s we had that we didn't convert. I didn't like them because they were all passes. The back shoulder pass to Dez 15 yards down the field was specially bizarre since we only needed 2 yards. Of course, this happened all year so I don't know why I am even complaining. If you only need 2 yards on 3rd down, can we at least focus on getting 3 before we call a play with 20 yard routes?

Dez and jump ball is either never tried or it's just a fail.

That defies all logic.

Witten was wide open.........I mean wide freaking open............easy pitch and catch for Romo and the game is tied...............Orton locked onto Dez and never even looked at anybody else, he totally telegraphed the play all the way.

I've seen Romo do the same exact thing. That is a designed play that was called and the defender just made a good play on the ball. I don't agree with going to Dez there because everyone KNEW it was going to Dez. But Orton just went with the play call and it didn't work.

Yup, been happening all year. It comes down to the play calling.

Murray fumble was the biggest, really believe if that didnt happen the boys would have won.

And that was due to a helmet hitting the ball. Not his just losing it.
