No question. I feel much better about this team than last years. Where this team will excel is the last half of the season as they gell. That D is going to be much better than last years defense. I feel this team can go a lot further than 2016 team. We just have to be patient they will get better as season moves along.

We continue to get some improved play from young guys like Woods, Lewis and maybe Cheetah if he gets healthy in the secondary.
If Lee comes back and we get Hitchens to play well
We get Irving and Moore to start helping out Collins and Tank

We get someone to play RT and OG better as the season goes on.

Who knows what can happen.

At least we should know what some of our young guys in the secondary can and cannot do by the end of the season.

this kind of up and down play is very very hard on some cowboy fans...it can bring on psychosis

No.this D is regressing badly.the Dline looks lost even against a semi good Oline.Marinelli refuses to blitz like we see other teams do.

Yep. The Club will improve as the season goes on. Its still not a SB threat with this Defense and Garrett. Its still a draft or two away. But, the Cowboys are still a far, far better Team than the way they have played in the early season.

Believe this or not..

its looking like a rebuilding year right now.

We have to rebuild the defense and that is happening.

Possibly we can go 10-6 and make the playoffs.

If we do..that means we have a shot.

We never do anything winning Home field advantage.

So why bother.

Yes. I think we will get better batting an injury to the OL. If that happens we may be sunk.

If Zeke gets suspended then that would be hard to overcome.

If Dez gets hurt we might actually play better. Same with Witten.

This defense will get better. Probably MUCH better if they have good coaching.

What will disgust me about Zeke getting suspended is that it will give Jerry Jones another scapegoat to extend Garrett another year if we miss the play-offs. "Well if we just had Zeke, we would have gotten in there".

It's sad, but we may very well watch another team ascend and possibly reach the superbowl, the rams, while we are still 'rebuilding' for nearly the 10th year in a row. We've already seen Carolina, Seattle, and San Francisco

This team continues to add young talent all over the place...and yet, they cannot win games, especially in the 2nd half, if there is anyone punching them in the face (see: our two losses)...they need a killer at the helm, not a clapper...they need to offensive-minded, and we have linehan...they need to pressure the QB, and we have methuselah as a D Coordinator....Dallas is good enough to make the playoffs but would get destroyed by anyone as of right now...the team is teetering on the precipice of being very good or being sub-.500...if Zeke if gone for 6 games, so goes the team towards sub-.500 in a weak division....this is not "the sky is falling" for me...it is me being realistic....
