It was delivered to CBZ's family today. They really appreciated the thought behind it and are looking forward to visiting the stadium to see the paver once it's installed. Hopefully soon we will know the location so we can get some pictures.

Do they send a replica to the family? Or do they send the real thing and the family ships it back to be installed?

Yeager's wife and mother-in-law hand delivered the replica to Cbz's wife.

The Cowboys will install the official paver at a later date.

I didn't know the guy very well. But I can tell you something about his character. Being the nuisance I often am on the internet, pops had good reason not to like me as a moderator. However, I made a post with youtubes featuring Tashard Choice's talent and highlights. He said, "you do know how to make a point." I took that to mean, I don't care for your sometimes persistent antics, but I accept you as a human and perspective. In that case he agreed with me.

It was one of the biggest compliments I had ever gotten on here because I know I can push peoples buttons and sometimes be a jerk. Yet he saw the good in me and complimented something I wrote.

It seems small, but I think it speaks largely about his character.

May Weldon rest in peace. I hope the youngins stay out of his yard in heaven.

And that was what made him special. He had an ability to ignore all the noise and truly get to the heart of a person and embrace that.

And he wasn't a wuss. He was as tough as they come when he had to be.

That combination made him a one in a million guy.

I sure do miss him around here but oddly, still feel his presence.
