I'm harboring hopes the bye week and added help will see the Cowboys playing more at their best. That's not to say our guys won't have to struggle, nevertheless, but we should be more competitive, assuming this newfound help and the rest serve its purpose. I'm anxious to see the extent that our defense might be able to make it easier to compete. I'm hoping a close game is in the cards.

Sorry I will hope for what I hope for and what I hope for is being better than mediocrity for eternity. The way I see it, you don't really even care, you just sit there taking a win here and a win there... where the hell is your team spirit man??! If you don't want the legacy of a once (yes, ONCE, not NOW) storied franchise to mean something, then why are you even here, belaying those who DO!? if we had won ONE SB in those 30 years of not even coming close, we would be tied with Pittsburgh and New England. 2 and we would be on top of them all.

HOW can a real fan NOT sit there and be a little discouraged and feeling like criticizing mediocrity by knowing that?

3 and we'd have more than Brady alone. Am I playing this game right?

Ladies and gents I think tonight we’ll see the most complete game of the season. It’s the Raiders, so it won’t be some were back situation, but I think tonight’s the perfect storm for us.

The offense has been lagging lately. They’ll look to right the ship and have had 2 weeks to talk about it.

The defense is being injected with a top 3 DT, and in my mind, when healthy, a top 5 LB in Overshown. We should be getting both safeties back even if they aren’t world beaters they’re better than what we’ve had out there.

Most notably, the having eachothers back in the name of Kneeland. Teams usually rally in these moments. I think Shotty is the right coach for moments like this.

It won't matter how good the Cowboys look tonight because the opponent isn't that great. Beat the Eagles next week and then we can say we got something.

You can have no hope for this season, still hope for a win, and have fun either way. Some people definitely take it too seriously.

I like football. Regardless of what we do. I really enjoyed the Bills/Bucs game yesterday. And the Broncos/Chiefs. Can't wait to get home to see Nick Wright make believe he's not contemplating suicide.
