Because they've always been good, and have shown no reason why they would stop.

And as far as receivers go - McNabb was finding open players before TO got there and before Westbrook was there. It isn't as if he became a probowler when TO arrived.

With all due respect to senile, old men everywhere, the Raiders look like a team put together by a senile, old man.
Oakland will be lucky to win 4 games this year. Their starting offense and defense are embarassing.

Don't bet on it. Art Shell is a very good, hardnose, discipline type coach. He will get them in order soon.

I think the Raiders will be a poor team for quite sometime.
They have No direction and true Shell was once a decent coach who was fired by Davis and he has now been out of the NFL for about 12-14 yeaars .
on top of that Davis has no patients and Shell has a huge project with salary cap problems on the way

Ahh, I don't think so. He was with KC and another team for a few years.. Shell is better then you give him credit for..

I thought their first team looked pretty sharp. I'm not sure what you were looking at. Remember this team was in 4 straight championship games without TO.

The team that stays the healthiest will win this division. And the most injured will most likely finish last.

Art Shell is all they have.
Their roster is a joke. If Shell can win 6 games with that team he should be coach of the year. Or coach of the century.

The eagles are a pretty complete team other than the WR position and its been proven over the past few years that big name WR's aren't a prerequisite for success if you have a pro-bowl caliber QB, great coaching, great D, and great lineplay. I hate the eagles as much as anyone else here but its asinine to watch 2 series of their 1st team offense in the 1st preseason game and think they are a lock to finish last in the east.

This man speaks of true things.

Memories fade - the Eagles were the best team in the division until last year's injuries. A healthy Eagles team is a dangerous eagles team.

I just hope we don't let them sneak up on us.
