you stated that you wanted a stud at back up rb. imo the eagles have no stud rbs in their pen and haven't invested any more in starting or backup rbs compared to our team. ajay is the closest but he's only above average imo. blount is old, sproles was hurt, clement was an udfa. so if you compare our rb situation (zeke > Ajayi, smith > blount, austin = sproles), we've invested more in rb (bo (6th round vs udfa clement) compared to the eagles. they haven't invested in any studs at starter or backup imo.

I was comparing it to Foles. But Ajayi is probably better than anything we have on the team other than Elliott.

The more I think about it, the more I think the position that needs upgrading possibly more than anything other than 1T is backup running back. We really need a stud to back up Zeke in case he gets hurt.

No back on this roster can do anything near what he can do. If Zeke were to go down in game 1, I really think this team is probably a 7 and 9 team. With Zeke it is a contender.

Hopefully, we will be looking to improve this position if an unexpected cut happens and the opportunity arises. I am not satisfied with Bo, or Rod or the other guy. Austin isn't an every down back.

We are thin behind Zeke. That's a problem that could eventually cost us big time if zeke misses any significant time.

I'm not seeing backup RB as a big issue. Yeah, the offense will revolve around Zeke, but RBs like him aren't that plentiful. With the low numbers at S and DT, I'd think those are by far the most worrisome positions.

Tavon Austin as a RB has to be considered an experiment. It may work out great...it may not.

Players come out of retirement all the time, especially for an ideal, familiar situation.

I still think Romo would’ve came out last season if Dak went down early or during a pivotal stretch of the season.

Backup QB is even more important. If Dak goes down for a lengthy period of time, this season is pretty much over with these backup "rookie" QBs.

The problem is, getting running backs that can do what Zeke does, requires a top 10 pick to get.

So having a backup as good as him, is just not realistic.
