I shudder at the thuggery that infiltrates the NFL these days. Look at the tweets coming from players around the league regarding the Zimmerman self-defense case. And now this from the Pittsburth and Miami offensive line brothers.

Such is why I'm glad Garrett has purged the roster of this ilk.

I'm not surprised at this in the slightest. Maurkice and Mike Pouncey both played on the same Florida team with Hernandez. It's stupid, to be sure, but I'm sure that both gave about two seconds thought into the entire thing and pretty much hung their respective hats on, "He's my boy!"

Perhaps they fear that If they don't show instant support for him then maybe he tells the authorities that they were involved in previous crimes.

I'm not usually like this but I'll be honest I would probably laugh and not find it upsetting at all if those two wind up seriously injured this year and can't play.

That's just plain stupid to do that. Even if he is your friend and what not you look incredibly stupid doing something like that.
