Romo was 13-3 in games he took part in . 2 of those loses he shouldn't have played in as he wasn't physically up to it. He played hurt in all of them.

And I dont buy the argument that Weeden leads us to more wins than Flynn leads GB.

JJ Watt's team couldn't even make the playoffs in a weak division. Without him the Teaxans still dont make the playoffs. How valuable could he be? He isn't in the conversation.

Rodgers may be the better player, Romo was at least as valuable.

The most underrated player in maybe league history is getting no absolutely love. He may have just had the best season no one is talking about. Here is a blind comparison. You decide.

Player 1:
15 games
305 for 435
69.9% Comp
3,705 yards
34 TDs
9 Ints
QBR: 113.2
Team Record: 12-4
Playoff Record: 1-1*
Playoff Stats: 34/50 68% 4 TDs 0 Ints
128.8 QBR 9.75 YPA

Player 2:
16 games
341/520
65.6% Comp
4,381 yards
38 TDs
5 Ints
QBR: 112.2
Team Record: 12-4
Playoff Record: 1-1
Playoff Stats:
43/69 62% 4 TDs 2 Ints
90.6 QBR 7.135 YPA

Note that Rodgers had almost 100 more attempts than Romo. And I don't want to hear about a defensive linemen on an 8-8 team that had a bunch of meaningless stats in meaningless games and caught a couple of meaningless fades on the goal line. This shouldn't even be a debate. Tony Romo...

So blind I can't tell which one is Romo and which one is Rodgers

Maybe I did, Maybe I didn't.

Al I know is, we still had the threat of the running game.

I know it's a cowboys forum, and we believe all of our guys are the best, but it's just not true.

I really dis like Rodgers, but i believe he was deserving of it.

So you're saying Eddie Lacey is not a threat to run? He was quite possibly the best young rb out there. :lmao2:

I dont like the patriots or Brady but the guy did some awsome stuff this yr with the little he had to work with. Not to mention the traded their best OL before the season.

To be fair, he always has. Troy Brown, Danny Amendola, and the like???? Come on, be real. Even when he had Randy Moss, he had a troubled player and that was the best he's ever had. I definately am not a Pat fan but Brady had been Phenomenal. In the same boat I would put Romo. Who has he had before Dez. The best you can say is Austin for about an 8 game stretch starting with the KC game and flowing into the next season before his hammies became a chronic issue. Tony has never had a great wr before Dez so I think he is pretty amazing too.

Behind this Oline and with this Running game? Yeah I definitely think Dallas has the better year without Romo than Gbay has without Rodgers. Neither make the playoffs though.

Romo had a great season, but hes not MVP.

He isnt the MVP on his own team... DeMarco Murray

Romo's first half of the season was not MVP worthy. Why do they even give out these awards?

Really? So this team would have a better record WITH Demarco and WITHOUT Romo than it would the other way around? I highly doubt this.

It's about even. Romo better QBR and comp percentage but Rodgers more TDs, less INTs, more yards.

Romo better playoff numbers but the sample size is small.

Yes, I don't see a real problem with either choice. It isn't as if the argument for Rodgers doesn't have merit with 38 TDs to just 5 interceptions.

Brady does. Before this Year Big Ben has.

Big Ben has almost always needed a top 5 dfense to even make the playoffs. This year he had a great running game and a defense that finished almost identical to ours and the second best running back in the NFL. The Steelers were considered the healthiest team in the NFL this year too. They had the fewest starters miss playing time. They also were also blessed with one of the easiest schedules ever by playing the NFC South and the AFC South. That is why three teams in that division made the playoffs. Next year will be adifferent story. Big Ben can not carry his team like Rodgers, Brady and Romo can.

MVP should not be determined off stats alone.

Romo, as good as he has been all season, and he was damn good. He didn't really have to put the team on his back. Would we win without him? Doubt it, but he didn't have to shoulder the whole load.

If he played this way before we had an O-line, or run game. Then yes.

Nobody on our team is mvp worthy. We all played great as a team, and we were not just great at 1 thing. If you can give the award to a group. Then our O-line for sure.

As much as I hate rodgers. It possibly should be with him.

lol are you high? Did you watch the game against Arizona?

I have no problem with Rodgers getting the MVP. It's not like they are giving it to Eli or something. C'mon folks. Of course I want Romo to get it. He had a fantastic year.
