I have been here 18 years. This is the 3rd time. The previous 2 times lasted about 30 minutes. This is sticking. My oldest daughter has seen snow twice, she will be 14 in 3 weeks. My youngest, 10, has seen snow twice, the only other time was when she was 2. So 8 years since the last time.

Yes, they own a home on Placita Divina Drive near Vantana CC. I love that hiking trail every time I go down there.

Yeah, that's a great hike. Have you ever done the 7 falls hike in Sabino Canyon? You can actually cliff jump there during the spring when the snow on Mt. Lemon melts. One jump is about 35 feet high.

Yes, five years ago, but I did it during the early stages of the flu. Sure enough, the hike knocked me on my arse and I didn't get out of bed for four days. Never again. Can't beat the scenery, though. I've only been down there in December, so I have no idea how you survive those summers.

Took my Boy Scout Troop up there on a hike about 7 years ago and there must have been 10 naked college girls up there. Those kids loved me.

Your comments on the snow remind me of our first snowfall this year. There a bunch of Mexican exchange students out taking pictures of the snow on their cellphones and I thought, it's snow, we get it every year what is the big deal, then I realized, they have probably never seen it live.
