For a minute, forget about Dak, forget about Fat Mike, forget about injuries to Bland, Parsons, Tank, Nealand, Kendricks, or any of the others. Forget about the horrible play calling, or the missed training camps. Forget about not signing any decent free agents, and letting a ton of guys walk last year. Forget about how much of a bust Mazi is, and the fact that Jerry keeps giving away draft picks for guys who will never play.
It’s all been discussed a ton.

To me, the biggest issue and the most ignorant factor in the Dallas Cowboys not having a good team this year is the fact that Jerry brought in a old and washed up, has-been defensive coordinator to try to help solve last years debacle. Just like MM in Green Bay, Zimmer was fired in Minnesota because of how bad the team was. The game passed him by, and Jerry thought he’d go back in time to bring a guy in to try to teach a generation who doesn’t respond to his type of coaching. This was Absolutely ignorant and right at the top of the mistakes made before the season began. He brought in a guy with 40 year old defensive philosophy to add to a guy with a 30 year old offensive philosophy, and expected them to teach a bunch of 24 year olds. DUMB!
