We heard for 5 seasons that Garrett need to rebuild the roster, and many people said he did. They point to the fact that we got younger, but getting younger doesnt mean we got more talented. Lets take a look at our roster by position, besides oline because that's the only thing that has been rebuilt.
Qb: Romo will be 36 and injuries are becoming an issue, and we never even tried to groom a qb for the future.
Rb: Yes DMC is coming off his best year, but he also has injury problems and will be 29 next season, absolutely no depth at this position.
Wr: With Dez playing mostly injured, it showed just how much Beasley and Williams NEED Romo, and Dez to take double coverage, because theyre useless on their own.
Te: Witten needs to see less snaps next season, because he is too slow and no longer a threat. Escobar is a complete unknown coming off an acl injury.
DE: Lawrence started slow, but coming off hus best season. Gregory is unknown and Hardy might be gone, so we will probably need help here.
DT: Crawford played through a tough injury so he'll get a pass. Hayden needs to be replaced, we cant go into another season with him.
LB: Cant depend on Mcclain because he is one screw up away from being out, and Cant depend on Lee because of his injuries. Hitchens is average, which we can probably get by with.
S: We have the worst SS and FS in the league. Enough said
CB: We have Scandrick and Carr, and Carr is absolute garbage. Hopefully Claibourne isnt here next season
