While the non called holding calls is not an excuse for our poor offensive play, its highlights an issue of bias against the Cowboys because of Jones stance against Goodell. 8 games without a holding call against opposing offenses is highlighted but its just one of the many obvious non calls against the offense and defense. We can all complain here on a Cowboy site to other Cowboy fans, but until this coaching staff and owner direct staff to put video together obvious non calls and send it to the league and go public with this BS then it will continue. While Goodell may have it in for Jerry, we the NFL Fans are also paying the price. This BS is not good for the league where its popularity is already in a huge decline. This type of clear bias needs to be exposed. Maybe a FB page where people who have access to all 22 can post obvious non-calls can be posted and NFL fans can go to voice their displeasure. Until THE FANS start making noise over being turned off with NFL politics both inside the NFL, The personal vendettas and Goodell and cronies acting like they are the mafia this type of crap will continue. In the end they are turning fans off and turning them away from football. Its pretty clear to me that Goodell not only thinks hes above NFL owners but he also thinks he can manipulate the game, force feed fans his BS and we have to take it.

You know what, you're right. The entire league is rigged. The refs were in on the Vikings and Cowboys game. They definitely wouldn't want the ratings to go up if their best money maker (the Cowboys) actually won games so instead Goodell, Mara, Blank etc all pay off the refs to f over the Cowboys. BTW, if you're a "true" fan you know the rigging didn't start this year because of Jerry's outburst, it started in the mid 90's because the NFL likes to lose money by keeping their most popular team out of the playoffs.

Or....our owner/GM is an egotistical POS that has kept us out of the playoffs for the past two decades, not the refs, commissioner or other owners. It's f'in Jerry, wake up! Great, he's a fantastic business owner but a horrendous football owner/GM, stop with the excuses. I really don't know how much longer I can stand this lizard. The good news is, statistically I should see him buried before myself.

****, I'm tired. I tried to stay upbeat for once in my life and we got blown out by the f'in Chargers. I blame this on no one but that worthless, slimy, disgusting, ego maniac Jerry f'in Jones. Other than buying the team, if it weren't for Jimmy this team would be a hair better than the Cleveland Browns. I hope Jerry sees the light, literally.

PS. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, I'm po'd, tired and maybe a little drunk. F'in ******** Cowboys

Solid rant.

I chuckled when Zoners began their little Quarter count for offensive holds on the opposing teams...

Im flabbergasted at how bad we have received the shaft the past few weeks

all while our leader Garrett chews his gums

Look at this horse ****. Lawrence gets TACKLED. This is absolute BS, there is no other way to put it. There is absolutely no way to defend this **** anymore. And the best part is that the NFL puts this garbage right on their Youtube channel because they know that they don't have to do **** about it. There is zero accountability. The refs in this league are trash.

Funny enough, I started seeing the seeds of what we see now being planted last year. First half of the season, we marched down fields at will and scored. A bit after the PIT game, we fell into a quagmire of holding calls and other penalties that killed several drives and kept games close. Now, it's like the refs aren't even trying to keep games close. They screw us on key drives and momentum shifts in the first half, and then we start to implode in the second half.
that's right, all cumulating in the playoff game with bs call on butler and the GB no holding calls, especially the one before the winning FG

I could maybe buy this until I bought the NFL package last year and watched dam near every game. Officiating is horrendous but I promise you its league wide. It's not a Cowboys problem, it's an NFL problem and its part of the reason I hardly watch professional football anymore.

So every team has a ratio of 19 holds called against them and only 5 for their opponent? And their opponents not being called for offensive holding by the OL for 34 straight quarters? Riiiiiight.

In a sense, the refs aren't trash. They are following orders very well and the orders are to make sure one team wins - which isn't us.

I commented on this play in another thread, it was the play that put the game out of reach so there was absolutely no way the refs were going to call the play back.

People seriously just starting to realize NOW the NFL is corrupt and they have always been since Goodell has been in charge.

This man is a serial egotist with a massive chip on his shoulder who wants all the power in the world and sadly the way the CBA is written it has allowed him to be controlling freak he always wanted to be. He is judge / jury and executioner all in one hit who answers to nobody and can apply penalties regardless what actual law courts and Police say.

Something is not adding up here and i have said it for years and only now people are talking about it sadly cause it is directly affecting us which is understandable i suppose.

The officiating is no coincidence and a direct result of Goodell showing his corrupt ways towards teams he falls out with.

Like many others i am close to giving the game away and while we are crappy at the moment and poorly coached if you couple this with blatant cheating by the league it makes it very hard to be enthusiastic on game day.

Goodell needs to go but the other owners are all pussies who are to scared to stand up to him but will happily bow at his knees and keep enjoying the direct favouritism he gives them in return.

For the first time in 30 years and i am truly considering just not following the game again until change is made.

Goodell could die tomorrow and I would feel a sense of relief about it.

I am not a conspiracy theorist and we obviously have many problems so it’s not an excuse for losing...

But how can anyone watch the past few weeks and not think he nfl is rigged? No holding calls in 34 quarters? Bet that hasn’t ever happened before. I counted four in the first quarter alone they ignored, including on all their big plays. Swinging Witten to the ground. Pass interference just pushing dez. Another hold on their big third down td in second half. Then we finally score and they of course call that hold.

It’s comical how bad it is. The league thinks they can get away with it bc holding is arbitrary and people won’t notice. We have noticed. I’m starting a boycott of this sham league
I am with you. This league is a joke. Crooked and stupid. I predict the nfl won’t last ten years.

Conspiracy? LOL.

Hmmm ok I'll bite. The next time a sure-fire Dallas Cowboys Gold Jacket player is suplexed 3 seconds after a play is blown dead, and 3 yards in the direct sight-line of the Head Referee- in his home stadium- and there is no flag-... call me.

The players cant call out the ref without being heavily fined. Even if they did its not like Goodell or the NFL will listen. It wont change until fans start calling them out and media outlets start covering these non calls. We need to let them know that we aren't as stupid as they think we are. Fans not only are responsible for the revenue to pay players salaries, we also play King Goodell's Salary.

I absolutely agree with the OP. Look, the Boys are playing like trash and the refs aren't the reason they are losing games, however, it's pretty obvious how bias they seem to be against them. It's like teams can do whatever they want to the Boys. Dak gets helmet to helmet hits, Witten slammed to the ground after the whistle, no favorable calls, phantom/ticky tacky flags on the Boys, and always some flag to kill our drive. I literally wait for a flag anytime Dallas makes a positive play, i.e. Dak running in that TD today. It's so obviously lopsided and such a "coincidence" it is during a season Zeke fights his B.S. suspension and Jerry gets mouthy with the league.

I'm not a conspiracy nut. I take everything with a grain of salt, but this, this is getting ridiculous. Makes me sad as a football fan.

Oh really? Can you tell me all the other teams that have been called 15+ times for holding over the past 30 quarters, vs zero against their opponents?

We all know officiating is terrible league wide, but the point is that there bias against the cowboys.

The Eagles Carolina game this year was freaking atrocious. 125 yards in penalties to 1. Thats right... 1 yard. The only other game I remember being officiated that poorly in 25 years was last year's Eagles Lions game... and guess what, the same ref crew. There was an article in the Philly paper about us having that crew 3 times in 3 years and it was 40 penalties to 7 in those games. There were a bunch of articles written up. A petition to ban these refs that had almost 80,000 signatures. The referees representatives came out with an absolutely insulting reply stating the fans had no idea what they were talking about. Essentially said F off. 390 yards in penalties to 70 in a 3 game span and their response was, "Shut up fans. You're a bunch of idiots"

They will do nothing about the lack of holding penalties committed against Dallas except to tell you you're stupid and don't know football. Pathetic

I’d like to read the replies the league sends back after the team sends them the plays they think they shoulda called penalties on. Yeah we’ve missed 5 more holding calls we’ll try to get it right next time:rolleyes:
