The Cowboys never adjusted during the Vikings Game. In my opinion I realize the Pass Rush was heavy on Tony but it was at times on Brett Favre who just like Tony has a very fast release. The Cowboys Receivers were not really having to fight off bump n Run Coverages very often, they were not being jammed at the line of scrimmage....this is where a 3 step drop and get rid of the ball quick Offense can slow down the opposing teams blitzes. The Cowboys never tried the deep ball any in this Football Game. Even if a Pass might not be completed it's a high chance that a Penalty can happen. I just think there was very little adjustment by the Boyz Offense during this game.

The Cowboys defense got off to a fast start but after the Vikings made "adjustments", you rarely heard Spencer or Ware's name.

Brad Childress must have saw something because he brazenly told Chris Meyers at half time, "You noticed that you haven't heard Demarcus Ware's name after he got that first Sack".

I understand we lost Flozell Adam, but the Vikings had a Rookie at RT and from my understanding, Bryant McKinnie has been terrible this year and even got benched at one point.

I agree however plain and simple this game was lost on the line of scrimmage Vikes did a better job of protection than we did. Our Olineman were getting whipped so while you may hit a play here or there without better play up front you are never going to get anything consistently going on offense.

Doomsday you are right on that and I have been saying in the last two Drafts we need to start drafting OL and I'm not talking about reaches (a 4th Rounder in the 1st Round) this is killing the Boyz. Last year instead of taking Jason Williams we should have taken the best OL on the Board. This year at pick 20-something I want the best OL on the Draft Board.

If the better value when our pick comes is at OL then I agree, if we have someone else rated much higher that is still on the board then I would go with the player you have rated higher.

I want to address the OL but I do know from seeing past drafts that when your only criteria is position you end up with something less. I do think BPA who fills a need is the way to go

I would love to be able to just point the finger at Romo or Garrett as the reason we lost. But it just isnt true so why bother. Any somewhat objective fan who understands football will see that the key to beating ANY team is pressure with your front line. Our offensive line was dominated man by man. Remember the Giants beating the Pats high powered offense? It was because of pass rush with the front line.

It will be interesting to see what Jerry and Co. do this offseason. I dont feel anything drastic needs to be done. Sure it doesnt hurt to start adding some young offensive linemen to the mix. And man i think everyone would love it if we could have spent the Roy Williams money and draft picks on a stud offensive line. The problem is teams are not letting these players go.
Look at the Eagles. They went out and traded for ProBowl Jason Peters. He was terrible this year against us. They will do something. We just wont know if it worked for a long time.
