Jerry is going to force Romo to get the ball out early into a tight window, no more pulling the ball down. This will get interesting, be careful what you wish for lads.;)
Now that's rich.

I am baffled that anyone that watches the games or reads up on the NFL could think that either quarterback is our biggest weakness or that this is such a strong QB class that it would be worth taking one anyways.

I for one don't hate Tony Romo.. In fact the only Jerseys I own of current players are Tony and Dez.. I just have Zero confidence that Tony can lead this team to a Super Bowl.In fact during the Commanders Playoff game I walked away from the TV before that last 2 minute drill. I had that feeling.. Tony is a great QB but some guys the moment is to big for them..

Didn't Romo have an OL a few years ago with two Pro Bowlers ... Bigg and Gurode?

You mean when we went 13 -3? Yeah.

Brady gets rid of the ball quick.

You give him or Peyton Manning any OL and they will adjust.

The problem is Garrett doesn't adjust to his Oline. We're running receivers 30 yards downfield and not giving Romo enough quick options.

Romo gets rid of the ball quick, too.

Overlooked, but just as important as blocking for Romo... we need a running game with power blocking..

Who do you think you could put on this team as currently constructed that would be able to lead us to a Super Bowl?

Apparently "fantasy man" or whoever played in the imaginary "Commanders playoff game". Maybe Buck Rogers?

WR run 30 yards down field because plays are busted and DL players are in the back field getting after Romo. WR then break their routs and look for the open spots and yes often that is deep down field.

It is not pay calling it is poor protection that allow plays to break down before they start. There are no calls to stop break downs in protection

Im sorry but we didn't have breakdowns every time Romo dropped back to pass.

We did however do a poor job of just getting the ball in our playmakers hands and letting them make a play.

We don't need to design 20 yard patterns constantly for guys like Dez, Austin, and Harris to make a play.

Just find better ways to get the ball in their hands.

Slow developing are never going to work well with an oline the struggles.

You have to get rid of the ball quick and limit your downfield plays.

Are we going to power block or are we going to go to a zone style scheme?

We spent a 1st on a LT that's strength is zone blocking and our RB is at his best when he's in a zone scheme yet we still try to cram the ball to our opponents throats with these heavy set formations that doesn't play to our Oline's strength.

Unless you have a beast mode OLine you are not going to have much success running the ball out of the formations we run out of in the area of the field we are running them.

I bet there will be a lot of no huddle next year. And that is a good thing.

Apparently Jerry Jones wants to build this offense around Romo and his strengths (Mobility, Arm Strength, Quick Release?). How do you think this offense can change to use Romo to the best of his abilities.

Romo is the most gifted qb we have ever had and we should utilize all of Moxies skills with much more imagination then in past yrs!

Most do not feel that he can't do it. What team has shown that just blowing a team up by letting a good quarterback go is an effective way of "rebuilding." The teams without quarterbacks are the teams that suck on a perennial basis.

Nope, when we went 13-3, that was 2007. We had three pro-bowlers on the line then. Davis, Gurode, and Adams.

We had two pro-bowlers in 2009, when we went 11-5.

and lost first playoff game.. Just saying

Romo's offense accounted for more points in that playoff game than the highest scoring offense of all time scored against them three weeks later.

I think Jerry comes out every other year with this tag line 'more romo friendly'. I mean how many more times is he going to come out and say they will do things to take more advantage of his talents. At some point Romo just has to do it or move on.
