That was total dominatiion even though the stats were close, NO was never really in that game IMO. I do agree the defense improves without Mo. Gives everybody a graceful way out. Admit the mistake and move on.

Wasn't Mo in for our first stop? I'm not defending him, and the defense didn't really miss him, but whether or not he would have had a good game is something we'll never know.

The big blow to the defense was Carter going out. Once he was gone, the Saints moved the ball much more effectively.

To summarize. Original poster hates Claiborne. Original poster is glad he's hurt. Original poster keeps commenting about Claiborne. Original poster is unsatisfied by the lack of attention his anti Claiborne comments generate

Original poster comes up with unoriginal thread.

OP does not hate IMO, just voicing a politically incorrect belief. Anyone with an avatar like he does has no room for hate in his heart, not enough room with all the lust. :D

so, let me get this straight, while Mo is in the game, New Orleans doesn't score, and Graham has 1 catch for 8 yards....with Mo out of the game, New Orleans scores and gets everyone nervous, including Graham scoring

yup, right, Mo, even while in the locker room, gave up the only points of the game....got it

I firmly believe the score would have been much much closer had Mo played all night. I'm serious... I hate that anyone gets injured but the one thing I kept to myself in chat last night was my complete and utter fear that the Saints were going to key on whoever Mo was covering all night. I truly believe they would have exploited that chink in the armor all night long.

It's kinda strange viewing the chain of events this way but I believe their anticipated key vanished when Mo left the field.

It could gave been vastly different in these ways:

1. If they get score to 31-24... Or
2. If we get those 3 picks from graham
3. Ref doesn't blow whistle on fumble-would-be-TD

Yeah. Lol at the holier than thou responses. If stating my real concerns regarding how the game may have went is considered less than desirable, I'm sure there are plenty of sunshine pumping threads for you to enjoy.

Injury aside, I had real concerns about his ability to come through while covering Graham especially after a rather distracting week. I don't like the guy but I also don't hate him.

I doubt it, but I've got to say the fact that Claiborne was even covering Jimmy freaking Graham in the first place made me shake my head.

The fact of the matter is and this is no insult to injury.

Jimmy Graham just took Mo and drove him to the floor ending his season.
