I tend to be optimistic on Dez's injury just because he came back and played on it. However, the longer there is no definitive word on the seriousness of injury is at best curious. It's definitely nothing to dismiss and I'm uneasy right now. The longer this goes on without some sort of announcement the more concern I'm getting.

A hit from that angle (outside in) isn't typical he f an MCL injury. MCLs are more likely happen when the knee is impacted from behind or directly in the front. That outside impact often leads to ACL tears. I'm hopeful his leg wasn't s firmly planted as it appeared, so as to reduce the torque on the knee.

if you look at that play his leg was bent in a bad way, I was surprised he came back.

Well, let's see:

Dez will probably suffer a severed limb.

Elliott is a 4th round bust because he hasn't broken off any 90 yard runs and is only 3rd in the league after playing 3 pop warner defenses.

Dak hasn't played anyone yet and defensive coordinators are just warming up their video's to shut him down completely.

Byron Jones is a bust.

The defense can't stop anyone and Lawrence won't help because he was only good with Greg Hardy there.

I know I'm missing more but it doesn't matter because the season is over and Dallas apparently can't draft a lick so the future is as dark as night.

This more than anything worries me. The fact that Jerry mentioned this occurrence to the media Sunday night. Why even bring that up unless it was already part of a conversation???

We'll looks like we'll know soon enough. Hoping for the best.

I will say this...if Dez ran that quality of route to dust off an NFL CB then power through a safety bearing down on him for a TD, all on a significantly injured knee, that's pretty remararkable.

Not to mention, while not really engaged in the passing, he managed to play through the entire game after the injury.

This is a good approach to reading the tea leaves but I heard the line started at SF favored by 3 right after the game. A five and a half point swing in our favor looks more like he's playing.

That said, when the reporters pressed JG about the MRI in yesterday's press conference, he showed outward stress and I think telegraphed that there was a real issue,(watch the first few minutes on the site and see if you agree) I am speculating and may not have a real read on him, but I haven't ever seen him stumble, even a bit, when deflecting questions prior to today. That said, if I were in Vegas, I would put money on Dez missing a few weeks.
