While being in the military we'd get major news from either our 1st sergeant or our captain, one day someone said something that never occurred to me he said "this is going to be good news" and I replied "how do you know" and he said "because the captain is delivering it" and I asked "what difference does it make" and he responded that the head guy always wants to deliver good news but lets the second in command give the bad news. He was totally right so I hope that this is the case with JJ on his radio show this morning.

The delay is concerning but you're right about this front office never being able to keep something significant under wraps without some kind of leak.

maybe i'm wrong but i thought there was a new rule about disclosing player injuries, like the team has to post accurate information within 24 hours of the next practice report or something..

if that's the case, what competitive advantage does that give you by "keeping it under wraps" when you just have to reveal it by the next day anyways?
