How do you know we would have won if not for the OPI? Likely, we would have had to kick a FG and that gets us to OT. How do you know for sure we would have won in OT?

Actually you’re wrong. We took the lead in the Seattle game with 4 minutes to go. Had we stopped Seattle on ONE play when it was fourth down, we win. In the Rams game, had the bogus PI penalty not been called, we at least tie the game and very well could’ve won it. End of story.

We know if the Falcons game ended with them recovering that onsides kick, the game was over.

And no, if we stop them on 4th down in the Seattle game, we don't necessarily still win. There was still over 2:30 on the clock and the Seahawks had timeouts and a two minute warning to get the ball. All they needed to was get a FG to win. So if we give them the ball back with 1:30 or so left after the 2 minute warning and using their TOs, you banking on this defense preventing them from not getting into FG range?

IMHO, it’s not only naive, but kinda delusional to expect ANY coach to instantly turn around a team with new coaches, players and scheme, without the usual preseason prep, amid a pandemic, AND with an above average rash of injuries to key players.

Assuming you watched all the games I think it’s obviously apparent why they would see a greater potential we could be 0-3.

That said we could have been 3-0. Just not as likely based on our performance thus far.

2 key stats: we haven’t given up 38 points in consecutive games since 1988. And we’ve only led for 13 minutes of 180 minutes. Tough to win.
