Maybe it is just me, but it just seems like the :starspin 's are lining up just right for the Cowboys. I feel real good about this team.

The Defense is looking really good playing nothing but vanilla. We all know in the second year of this defense we have some special packages a waiting.

The Front 7 looks huge and ready to be a mack truck, and the secondary looks to be covering like dough over a hot dog.

The O-Line looks to be improved, motivated, and ready to go.

Bledsoe looks great. It looks like we finally have a backup and possible QB of the future. TG looks like he is ready to have his best year ever.

Witten is signed and licking his chops because T.O. and Glenn will open it all up for him.

The RB's look prime and ready, JJ is catching it better, he is 100%, and Barber looks like he is much more complete. I expect big things from him this year.

Teams are calling about players looking for trades, possibly players we would be cutting anyway because of our depth.

Reports say Vandy is kicking well in practice.

And Finally T.O. is on the field, and did anyone ever really think he would not be ready Week 1. And despite what anyone thinks about him is there any doubt what this freak show will do for our offense, pass protection, and running game.

For the first time in a long time, I FINALLY BELIEVE THIS TEAM HAS A LEGIT SHOT TO WIN IT ALL.

Everything is lining up just right!

They've got to line up all season.

No injuries in the Vikings game would be awesome!

TO scoring on a 60 yard bomb from Bledsoe would be icing on the cake.

Our O-line dominating the Vikings D-line would send me into space.

I share in your enthusiasm!! This is the best lineup under Parcells since probably the 1996 Patriots superbowl team.

I think this is going to be a special season that when it's all said and done, we'll re-live for years to come. They CAN do it this year if everyone stays healthy and maintains their intensity.

I am just DYING to see how opposing defenses will handle Terry Glenn AND T.O lined up at the same time. If they choose to blitz then Bledsoe will eat them alive.

This is going to be FUN to watch......

The closer the season gets, the more excited I get about the prospects for this team. I feel like we can be a dominant team in the NFC.

The NFC is gonna be a slobberknocker conference this year, I think the AFC's dominance is finally about over. Dallas will be in the thick of it no doubt, but man there are some good teams in the NFC, much more than in the past few years.

Dallas
Gnats
Carolina
TB
Atlanta
Seattle

Some above average teams

Wash
E-girls
Bears
Rams

IS IT FOOTBALL SEASON YET?????????

This is the first year, in to many to count, where I say line up our team against anyone in the NFL and we can win...it's been to long. I really think we can beat anyone out there.

I'm feeling homerish too :laugh2: , but with good reason!

Nice post, and I agree completely.

Everyteam has question marks going into the season but keep this in mind when lamenting ours -

Cowboys 3 biggest concerns -

1) offensive line

2) TO's ability to coexsist with Parcells and not be a cancer

3) Is Vandy healthy and going to be able to perform like the most accuarate kicker in NFL history?

My biggest concern has been and still is the OLine. And while you can never really trust your eyes when it comes to the preseason for a multitude of reasons, they have looked pretty damn good. There is reason to believe if we have a healthy Flozell then we might just be ok here.

The other two question marks boil down to this, the men in question are two of the best players at their respective positions in the entire NFL. Which means if the questions with them are answered positively then not only might they not be trouble for Big D, but instead tremendous assets.

I really am not concerned at all about Vandy, I think the concerns there have been overblown. He'll be just fine. He represents the single biggest upgrade of any position on the team from last year till now. Let that tasty fact resonate fully when counting him as a potential trouble spot.

As for TO, this is why Parcells makes the big money. You couldn't hand pick a coach that's more capable of handling a player like TO than Tuna. Not now not ever. Simply put this is BP's specialty. This is one of the situations where you just sit back and watch him weave his magic. Once TO brings it on Sunday, and he will starting week 1, he instantly becomes one of those guys Bill can depend on come gametime. And what so many people seem to forget is the guys who actually perform on Sundays never have a problem with this coach. I think we'll all watch this relationship flourish, much to the chagrin of the rest of the NFL, the longer TO demonstrates what type of player he is on the field.

This is my first post, but I've been lurking for months.

I must say I am psyched out of my mind right now about this team. I agree that if they can avoid injuries then they have as just as good of a chance as anyone to win the whole thing.

Come on Sep 10th. :)
