Nice job with the insults there. Not a good idea on this forum. You get a pass because it is me. Don't pull this on other posters who disagree with your almighty opinions.

You asked for it, so you got it. Next time ask nicely.

and it really is. Everytime I log on to CZ I see a blog going hatefully at T.O/or people who support him. I keep hearing oh we'll be better team without him oh he's a cancer and quite frankley its gettin old.
It's called opinions and everyone has them. The man has always been a lightning rod for fan opinions. So much so that when the rumors flew that he was signing here we created a TO Zone. That's right, one whole forum assigned to him.

You want to tell people they can't share their opinions then you're barking up the wrong tree. Because on this forum, as long as the Guidelines are followed all opinions are welcome.

Even ones that get our panties in a wad.

T.O IS NOT THE PROBLEM idk how clearer I can type that, so its his fault interceptionS are thrown on a everygame bases by right now an overrated qb whos into his girlfreind more then he is with football.
This is what I find really funny. People automatically know that Tony Romo is more into Jessica than he is to football. I am supposed to buy these paparazzi ideas and take the opinion seriously? Sorry can't do it.

Here, I'll play along for grins and giggles. If he's so into her how come they aren't married and popping babies since that is what all the paparazzi are waiting for?

I can't even take the rest seriously because this is so flawed. Read Jason Witten's article with Nick Eatman on the Daily Zone. Much better evidence of Tony's dedication than TMZ. Just food for thought.

And yes I just really did call Romo overrated, he got paid the bucks and he has done abso. nothing but give us a hot start in the beggining of the season and an ice cold ending, but then again thats T.O 's fault what was I thinkin even typin that?
No one is relieving Romo of any blame. That's one of the things I find so humorous about the TO shills. If he is criticized it means we don't see any other avenue for blame. That is total and complete childish nonsense.

Here, let me help you out. The following people BESIDES Terrell Owens need to step up to the plate in 2009 and give better.

Jerry Jones, Wade Phillips, Jason Garrett, the rest of the coaching staff, Tony Romo, the rest of the Offense who went from 455 points scored in 2007, to 362 points scored in 2008, a decline of almost 6 points per game. The Defense who went from giving up 325 points in 2007 to 365 points in 2008 despite better talent.

All of these people hold some blame for the piss poor results of 2008. Owens is not blameless. The sooner his parish can accept that and get over their incessant whiny drone of defense the better.

is it his fault we got rats and snitches in our locker who cant keep there mouth's shut. Witten is and outstanding player but he is turning into a diva, Crayton haha gimme a break, Roy Tex Williams well I'm goin to give him another year cause i really did'nt see that much from him, FJ,TC,MBIII outstandin football players i thank them.
I don't even know what to say to this. A school system needs to hang their heads in shame.

So my point of writing this thing was to kinda let people know to look at the whole team before you start pointing at T.O for problems.
As a matter of fact people do look at the whole team. Pick out any one poster that you think is fixated on just blaming Terrell Owens who has over 100 posts on this forum. Then bet me any amount of money you want that I can't find where that poster is critical of Owens but gives every other coach and player a pass. Please make that bet with me and name your amounts.

If you can't do it, well then this is just another incessant whiny ramble about how people pick on poor TO.

Prove you wrong? Please. Ask me something hard. This was easier than Sweaty Letty down on Miracle Mile.

man i don't type on here often....but i had to give my 2 cents on this topic here....I agree with him 100% TO is not the problem at all, actually I believe all wide outs that are worth a damn say something when they aren't involved....Even Marvin Harrison had something to say when he didn't get the ball about 3 or 4 years ago....I have no problem with an athelete wanting the ball more at pressure times, hell if Romo had just half the ego of TO we would be in the superbowl this year and last.....Anyone who say that they were suprised when they heard that Romo was dogging it in practice had to have been blind.....

Now saying alll that I wouldn't give up on Romo at all....I would like to see him coached by some coaches who brought discipline to the team...I do believe JG needs to leave and even Wade, but it is to late for that now all the coaches that are worth a damn are off the market.....The coaching staff that I would have liked to see together would have been OC Mike Martz,,,DC Capers,,,,,HC Mike Holgrem.......Holgrem would make everyone accountable for there mistakes from players to coaches.........A whole lot of you don't want to see Martz but we have just as much if not more talent on offense as he had to work with in st. louis

TO and Roy = Holt and Bruce
Miles and Crayton > Hakim
Witten and Bennet > Ernie Conwell
Jones and Barber = if not better Faulk
Romo ? (maybe better with new coaching) Kurt Warner

that being said we don't need to have a escape goat we need new coaching..

Gotta give ya props, well done. The real reason why people blame TO (Whether they consciously or subconsciously realize it or not) is that he's the Vet, he's the guy who is supposed to step up and lead by example. To bad we have a 5 year old driving the Ferrari into the side of the garage...

That's all you needed to say, BUT you have gone on record saying T.O. needs to be cut. Because as long as he keeps talking, we'll keep losing.

Which (in my opinion, unfairly) seems to place the brunt of the blame of the failed season on his head.

I've already gotten tired of all the excuses flying around here, seems no one is willing to contemplate the idea that this team may simply not be that good and there's no magic bullet.

If what we want is a team, a real team, we as fans can probably start by not singling out one or two guys to blame for an entire season down the tubes.

Pretty nice post...especially the part about the coaches. However, the reason that some single out T.O. is that he just cannot be coached by a hard nose coach!

If a hard nose coach/s gets on T.O.'s butt, T.O. will tune them out faster then I would tune out BSPN!

So, what is the common denominator here?

Until T.O. understands that he is NOT the best thing since peanut butter and that he needs to learn the word "team" (of which he has not since he's been on three of them so far) and keeps his mouth shut, he needs to roll...or ge with the program!

Knuckleheads use the word "haters" for posters that are really just "disgusted" with T.O. at this point. That is downright silly and stupid at the same time. How can you hate someone you don't know?

As for me? I'm sorry to admit that I am one stupid bastid because at one point in time I was a big T.O. fan...until he started up! Again!

And T.O. can start doing the same by shutting the hell up! If only he would do that I would bet the mess in Dallas would come down quite a bit.

are you forgetting he missed 4 games due to a broken finger and the fact that brad johnson gave away 3 of those games? How about the pounding he took towards the end of the season? i'm willing to bet money that he would have won more than 1 out of 4 games in the games he missed which would have put us in the playoffs. overrated? i think not. I think the whole team needs to get their act together though, you may be right about the off the field distractions (jessica) but there is no doubt in my mind he is there to win and can do it.

this is all speculation here in dallas and you have to admit it.....if you want to talk about jason garrett and him well romo and witten have a problem with jason.......with the eagles it had nothing to do with coaching remember he just wanted to be paid what he was worth (which i agree with him on)...The eagles didn't want to pay him so he started with McNabb to force a trade....He only get's upset and act an *** when he feels he is not being paid what he feel he is worth....To me that really if the NFL's fault by not having the contracts guranteed...an NFL player always has to fight for money with hold outs and everything so I don't fault TO on that to be honest with you...Plus like I said your best player will always be a d!ck in any sport....you just have to have that kind of swagger about yourself to become the best

Well, us fans are not on the team, T.O. is.

So the OP compliments these self supposed "out of hand T.O threads" with another thread that talks about the "out of hand T.O threads"? People can set up a thread on anything they like, as the OP is also entitled too. But cmon buddy, I rather read another Jerry Jones plastic surgery thread, instead of whining about T.O threads and those are as hurting as it gets.

It's kind of true. People say Larry Bird and Michael Jordon were jerks on the court and could be jerks to their team mates. When you're great, you expect greatness from those around you and have less tolerance for mediocrity or those that aren't willing to get in line behind you.

T. O. is a cancer. The fast moving kind at that.

The only hope is to cut it out and hope it hasn't spread to other parts of the body.

Sorry to disagree with your original post. You seemed so passionate about it. :)

Maybe, in some sort of weird way?

But those guys have Championships to back up their talk, right?

Talk the talk, but walk the walk?

But, don't come out and say that if you don't get the ball you won't get to the SuperBowl. Or, if you don't get the ball, you won't win games.

Now, T.O. might not have said that, but he sure as hell has insinuated that!

It's Sir, thanks.

Well, to be fair to T.O., he's a great player. He drops his share of passes and runs his share of sloppy routes, but he also has made a ton of plays for the Cowboys. So, in that case, yes, he does walk the walk for the most part.

The problem with him is that he just won't shut the hell up! It's all got to be about him.

"I love me some me" says alot more then you think.
