The suffering can end on Saturday

I don't consider still being in the playoff race as suffering. Suffering is when you're eliminated from the race and you're having to play out the schedule. The real suffering may come after Saturday when the Cowboys have nothing to play for the final two weeks except a high draft pick.

Unfortunately, there will still be 2 weeks more of lining up tight on 3rd and 1 with 22 players in the box, no risks taken, bad clock management, totally baffling decisions, and generally dumb players making dumb plays.

The final gun at week 17 can't get here soon enough. Unfortunately, they will line up and do it again next year with the same FO, coaching staff, and 75% of the same players.

watching a 4-9 garbage team and hearing people say we are in a playoff race IS suffering.

I see NYG winning tomorrow.

Then NY loses to Car; Eagles lose to Az; Wash loses to Buff next week. probably some weird thing happens that we luck into a NYJ win just to say its 1 game back with 2 to play.

Then we get to hear about battling, handling adversity and stacking practices for another week

This scenario is likely because it s the most nauseating

The good teams the Cowboys have played this season have exposed how bad they are.

Honestly hoping we get blown out and embarrassed the rest of the way- i think that is the only way Jason Garrett leaves

I've been hoping that since Romo went down for the 2nd time. A lot of people weren't on board and still had false hope. That Commanders win might hurt us in draft position and head coach staying.

So are you saying the above scenario will Guarantee Jason Garrett will stop clapping on the sidelines the rest of the year? Because watching that is still suffering.

Nothing will stop him from clapping on the sidelines unless Jerry fires him... Which means nothing will stop him from clapping on the sidelines

I think the Skins lost on purpose to us. They hurt our Draft Position and helped strengthen JG coming back. The Skins are so devious.

you are dreaming.. Nothing short of Jason pantsing Jerry in front of the team would endanger his job status. Sad but reality.

Pantsing Jerry in front of a camera would be Jerruh's dream. As big as his ego is he probably still thinks he has something to show off. Remember how the dude was mugging for the camera when he had strippers grabbing his crotch?

The suffering won't end until next season begins.

Hopefully the suffering will end then but with Romo aging and his injury concerns and with all the other concerns the team has we'll just have to see.

The only game I'm going to this season is week 17 against the Commanders. Obviously wished it had playoff implications, but at least I'll have the satisfaction of knowing regardless of what happens, it won't be "that" bad.

Dallas currently has the #6 pick in the draft after today. It would be extremely unwise of Red and Co to win another game. Cut your losses and start Moore the rest of the way. See what you have. (they won't do this. Just saying it's what they should do).

But here is how the suffering may continue.
NY wins, and we lose, we are eliminated.

Cassell continues to play. Saying he will need to reps as the backup.
Come draft time, no QB is taken, as they will say the have confidence in Cassell, and that they still want to see what they have in Moore. Though he did not get any playing time in the last 2 games, because he wasn't ready yet.

Truth is....I am more right than I am wrong.....

Cassell has played a LOT of games with plenty of prep time. They know what he is. He can't even grip the football. 0 TDs in the last 3 games.
