That's just too early in the season, but considering how early in the season we lost Romo I can understand.

Who knows what will happen. I am not even 100% convinced the FO or coaches see what us fans do regarding things like safety play as an example.

Broaddus alluded to something along the lines of over estimating the talent on hand.

Maybe the scouts/coaches/etc just don't want to flat out tell Jerry a guy like Wilcox just cant play in this league.

Maybe they fear for their job if they speak that way. I have no way of knowing, neither does anyone not in that room, I'm just speculating.

If the FO makes the correct, tough personnel decisions that need to be made, we have a chance.

I'm not so sure that happens.

I'd sooner bet theres a coach that tells Jerry he can fix Church and Wilcox and he buys it because he wants to.

Then it fails, then Jerry just "rolls up his sleeves and comes back for more." That's supposedly the "advantage" we have in the way this joke of an organizational structure operates.

We should have known the season was a lost cause after week 2 but the optimist in most of us reigns supreme until the reality of the season shut us down.

Just seems like, sadly, there's a lot of not being realistic about the ability of some players.

Being overly optimistic and believing what you want to believe is a real handicap.

I think this FO is very guilty of that far too often.

Without Romo, none of these other things matter.

Extremely talented. One of the most talented 4-12 teams in recent memory.

That's what has gotten me through all this losing. Marveling at all our talent.
