Eat it while you change your terrible avatar/sig combo. The hideous baby and homoerotic CC comments make every one of your posts that much worse.

You can say what you want. But if you hate TO so much why on earth would you enter a thread titled "Thank you TO"? Do you lack comprehension skills or what's going on here?
Everyone runs the risk of posting something with the sole intent to obtain certain responses and not receive what is expected. By his silence, I'm assuming that the author of the thread understands that fact. Why don't you?

I guess I have a hard time understanding how you debate or what to debate in a "Thank You TO thread".

As I've mentioned before, I was deadset on this signing from Day one...I couldn't erase the memory of the star celebration from my memory or the way he imploded his Niner and Eagle teams.

It took me over a season to warm up to the idea of him wearing the star but I soon found him to be earnest and hard working...Never saw or heard him making excuses...He's a media ***** but a lot of these high profile WRs seem to have similar egos so I didn't mind so much.

He was a weapon...A weapon that will be debated as to how effective or well used he was but a weapon nevertheless...Moreover, I grew to see that there was a considerable media snowjob on him and his professionalism...He's unlikely to be a saint in reality but I never found him to be a problem for the Cowboys, on the surface...What went on inside, I continue to maintain is speculative...And the things that did come to the surface and get out in the media, I can't argue with...Romo gets tunnel vision and he wasn't being used well enough (IMHO).

I thought he represented the Cowboys well and he always presented himself as a diehard member of the club and took losses, seemingly, as hard as any diehard fan would...And in an age of billion dollar professional sports, that seems to be a fading example - an athlete that wants to win, regardless of the money.

So, as he leaves now, my only concern wrt T.O. is how he intends to top his Star treatment as a Niner...Cuz let's face it, he's got an axe to grind and we can be certain he will look to exact that revenge in a very overt manner...Definitely not looking forward to that

You scored 40 TDs for us in 3 years. I only care about what happens on Sunday, chicks read tabloids, watch ESPN, and gossip about it.

There is no debate. It's a Thank You thread which some have decide not to thank him in. This is the risk of such a thread for anyone creating it. Maybe you'll like for the site adminstrator to throw in posting restrictions? He might entertain the idea.

Reality? What do you think?

He may answer. He may not. Oh well.

I do appreciate his efforts here and I am grateful. It isn't the end of the world for the team or for him. I plan to get hold of Martin Breen to thank him for the TO football camps we sent youth to.

Thank you TO.

Why not just not post at all though? Why take the time out of your day to post in a "Thank You TO thread"? It just doesn't make sense. This is a message board. We'll disagree and move on with our lives. But i've always wondered the motive behind guys who posted negative comments in threads like these. Like if there was a "Thank You Zach THomas" thread I wouldn't even care enough to enter it let alone post.

The only guy we should be thanking is Roy Williams 38, he gave us very good pro bowl years, he was a great leader and teammate, unfortunately he is not the same player he once was and I do wish him the best in the future.

And what’s the motive to defend TO every stinking chance? Do you really believe he is going to read this thread personally? Does a negative post in a “Thank TO Thread” ruin your life? The guy had no problem taking cheap shots at coaches and players yet he is immune to some joe shmo fan on a message board saying his piece? Get real man.

Roy was a great leader and teammate? Are you being sarcastic or what's going on? I like Roy and hate to see him go as well. But aside from his coverage skills his leadership was his worst attribute.

I don't recall defending TO. I actually think cutting him though I don't like it was the best move for this team due to the personnel and coaching staff. But i'll say this. I would never go into a "I hate TO thread" and defend him. I wouldn't even enter it.

I agree with this.

Some would even call it trolling.

You are forgetting his early years, he was a great teammate, Darren Woodson always said that and as far as a leader, he was one if not the most feared hitter in Football and guys in the locker room really respected and looked up to him, remember a leader not only shouts and encourages teammates ( a la Michael Irvin) they can also lead by example and in my book Roy did do that in his early years.

I know there have been alot of mixed feelings amongst the Cowboys community surrounding the release of T.O., but I thought I would start the official thread to thank him with all sincerity for his time here in Dallas.

Let's not forget he led the league in regular season TD receptions in 2006. I will never forget that 4 TD game he had against our most hated rival: the Washington Commanders. That entire 2007 season was magical, and T.O.'s spectacular play was a big part of it. Despite the disappointing 2008 season, T.O. still had 10 TD catches!

On behalf of Cowboy fans everywhere, thank you Terrell. I will continue to wear your #81 jersey with pride to every home game at the new stadium next year! I also wish you the best of luck with the remainder of your Hall of Fame career (at least when you're not playing the Cowboys). We love you, T.O.! You da man!

:starspin

:hammer:

Great post! I'm still a big T.O. fan and wish him luck in the rest of his career. My son will still wear his jersey at training camp next year!

Thanks TO.

I was against bringing you to Dallas but you proved me wrong while you were here. Unfortunately you can't escape your past and will never get a fair chance at redemption in the eyes of some.
