Been saying it for years...been banned from other boards for saying it....will NOT stop saying it until it gets fixed. We WILL NOT beat good teams with this o-line. Good teams will expose this o-line all night and day. Philly, Jacksonville, and the NYFG did what good teams are supposed to do. The state of are o-line is PROBABLY why reports from training camp about our DL were glowing. Our DL is DECENT, but against this OL in practice everyday they probably looked like world beaters.
Parcells has no one but himself to blame. We don't spend high draft picks on o-lineman. We try to develop scrap heap kinds of guys. And then when we do they suck (Johnson, Rogers, Peterman)
Parcells time in Dallas will go up in flames because he never even established an average o-line. 4 years is enough time to establish an average o-line.
And all these cats that point to how better off we are than when Campo was here should examine things a little closer. Parcells has had cap room, draft picks, a top 5 head coaches salary, the right to choose his own staff and the owners checkbook. Campo had NONE OF THAT
And Parcells made the playoffs with Zimmers 4-3 and players that were here when he got here.
He has NOT DELIVERED. And quite frankly I hope he leaves. Another coach would get more out of this talent
P.S. - still waiting for an explanation from Valley Ranch on why we did not draft the big RT from Auburn when we had a top 5 TE AND we signed a TE from Seattle. This is what I am talking about when I say we had chances to improve this OL and outsmart ourselves
