Not sure what it would cost to move on from him, but often it seemed last night the other teams KR guy put them in better field position than what he did for us. It's been a few weeks now and I think fans are growing tired of him. All he has is speed, can you name another good thing he does??? I'm hoping they bring severe competition in for him in the off season! Please give your thoughts

I can tell you one thing he doesn’t have.

Guys in front of him who can open a lane.

It’s not like the Detroit returners were doing anything out of the ordinary

Looked like they just started running straight ahead.

I don't think it is Turpin actually. Our special teams has been trash all year. Not just at returning. Sorenson has been horrible.

Another scapegoat. Turpin every game brings it. Dude is half the size of these grown men and still running hard! Last night he had a good return run that was very much needed to get back momentum and he knew it, but was called back for penalties. He also. just like usual, made some key offensive plays - trick or not - when this offense couldn't figure out how to pass to 2 alleged $40 million receivers. Turpin has some dawg in him, as does Fluornoy, and I don't consider them the problem. Yeah, he %*$#* up on the fair catch wave but I think that was from him wanting to do too much, not from GP's same "well, it's just a game" BS.

Yeah he sucks. Doing some weird stuff out there. He clearly needs a stronger coach to rein him in.

For a guy with so much speed…he sure seemed to be tackled quite easily. They made it look easy stopping him most of the night.
been the problem all season you blow on him and he's down. I wish we had a guy that was a bit heavier, maybe that would help some with his game

and if he had a lane, how long would it be before the slow running that he does would he be caught????

Yes, his only really weapon is his speed, and it is mostly straight line speed. The way he jogs after catching a kickoff, then barely makes it to the 30 yard line is maddening. It seems to me since teh other team can;t start until the receiver catches the ball, the best thing you can do is catch and run full speed hoping to beat the other team to the 30 yard line. Then if something opens up you have the momentum to get through the defenders and head for the end zone. Turpin literally gives up yards when he tip toes after catching the kick off.

But at the same time, the Cowboys special teams are terrible too, other than the punter and kicker. I mean they n ever block well and when they do there is always some kind of penalty. They don't cover well either. It seems the other team always gets to the 35 yard line at least.

He scored 2 TD's in the return game last year.

This year, the blocking hasn't been the same.
