The Turpin experiment needs to be over!

After every special teams play that he’s involved in he either pounds the ball in his hands or holds up a “this close” with his fingers like something great almost happened. Nothing great on special teams has happened with him for 2 years.

I don't think I've ever seen so many players and coaches showing our boys how to hold on correctly to the ball as last night.
 
Yup he no longer scares anyone, plus he hesitates way too much on kick returns, not only that he tries to get away with the fake fair catch signal and he always gets caught.
 
Problem with Turp is he hasn't been good at his primary job. The offensive production from Turp has been fine imo. Disappointing season from Turpin, and he's solidified himself as a return man gadget guy to me.
 
The team would be fine if they’d just acknowledge he’s not an offensive player. He’s a special teamer. That’s fine.

They keep trying to “get him involved” with stupid plays. Just send him straight up the field and make the defense respect his speed. Putting him in a phone booth on the sidelines will not work against teams that have decent speed because the pursuit will get there before he has a chance to get in the open.

He should run like 4 routes. Go, post, deep cross, and something down the field towards the sideline.

he needs to run really fast and never stop until he gets to another team

Yeah, he %*$#* up on the fair catch wave but I think that was from him wanting to do too much, not from GP's same "well, it's just a game" BS.

Flournoy is just the better player and has to be a better blocker in the run game by default.

I am still fine with a few isolated plays with him in motion or a bubble screen, but with 30+ offensive snaps he was basically none existent.
