The Turpin experiment needs to be over!

oh i do laugh at you coog. Believe me.

Hard not to laugh at a clown....I thought he had you on ignore??? I guess you feed his ego by keeping him relevant....you should call him, Jerry

..I thought he had you on ignore???
Coooooog granted both of us a short term reprieve. He said to me..... if you and Ranching can learn to behave then we'll be all set. And the ignore button will not be activated. How you like dem apples, Coach?

I don't care what he does.....he probably doesn't want to hear my thoughts, anyway. As far as apples, I shove those down a hogs throat, before I stick them in the ground for barbacoa....

Yeah, he's not been very good this year. Tons of mistakes and rarely an impact. Nick Sorensen has been a disaster coaching special teams this year.

Turpin far from special on special teams, he's highly overrated

They got him off a USFL team.
They WERE getting killer ROI from him.

He did get a good contract this off season.

I think he is still a good option. Play Special teams, gets some passes and gets some rushing yards.

Maybe you find another cheap guy to do all of those things in the draft. But kind of hard to complain about his time with the Cowboys thus far.

If you are complaining about Turpin, might be missing the forest for the trees.

Nothing wrong with saying he is not having his best year on ST returns. But come on now.

Not sure what it would cost to move on from him, but often it seemed last night the other teams KR guy put them in better field position than what he did for us. It's been a few weeks now and I think fans are growing tired of him. All he has is speed, can you name another good thing he does??? I'm hoping they bring severe competition in for him in the off season! Please give your thoughts
He looks like crap returning kicks. But he is a halfway decent WR and we're paying him next to nothing over the next two years. Aubrey will be making more per year than him.

he has lost his super speed, which was his only asset.
He is ordinary fast now.

He’s been hit hard a number of times this year- he’s been slammed down as well.

When that happens you become tentative.

Playing tentative in the NFL spreads like wildfire and guys target you.

I’ve seen in person MetLife - he’s the size of jazzcats purse dog.

It’s time to move on. Whatever happened to him, it’s apparent his career is on the downhill.

Commentary always talks about how him like he's Devin Hester or something when returning, but he's never really been so.

Having said that, he's not a problem for this team at all? He definitely contributes as a 4th or 5th option receiver.

I agree with the guys on the Fan. Turpin thinks he's a WR now, and doesn't return with the same abandon he did before.

But then, Schottenheimer is likely told to use Turpin a lot, even though he is - at best - our 4th best WR, because Jerry cut him a big check.

Hmmm I never thought of this. Maybe this is it. He normally makes it in the tip 20 fastest Ball Carriers. But this season he isn't on that list. Maybe because he seem to be doing a lot of jogging during his returns.

I heard that too, how many WR's actually dress for the game, if he gets hurt on KR, then that's also a WR we're down, so I guess so!

Did you see or ST blocking? It's more on them than it is on Turpin.

point taken, but are you comfortable with the way he hesitates or whatever it is, remind me kind of leveon bell
It looks to me like he starts to run at a hole, and that hole is immediately closed up, so he has to find another one, then that one gets closed up, etc.

Correct there's no experiment here he's a Dallas Cowboy he will remain a Dallas Cowboy if you want to ignite his passion back maybe make him run harder and want it again Pull em off some of the special teams units one game in suit up either Blue or Israel and get them ready I mean something like that could have been done on this 10 day break and have them return punts and kicks and now maybe we'll see if it's the blocking and the scheme or is it the player.

He's very competent at catching the ball and maximizing what he can get regardless of a few mistakes I can count a dozen or more players on this team that are underperforming and not earning their contract so let's stop picking on any one of them and just say the team needs to play better to beat teams like the Lions...
