The Two Most important Factors at End of Season

They are health and turn overs. These two are the most prevailing indicators of how a team ends the season and how well they do in playoffs. At present the Cowboys are doing well in both categories. If you taking notes on the NFL season you should be trending these for each team and at less our division.

I will go you one better, these two are so important that at the end of the season a 9-7 team can and will get into the playoffs and win a SB when leading in both categories!!
O.K. I could support that premise as I believe the n.y. giants did just that, yet last I checked we were running a -3(in the red) on the turnovers and not that this matters but our money Man's health went south during warm ups,a 9-7 Dallas team won't win a super bowl without #5

I would add injuries to the two you mentioned.

If a team excels in getting turnovers and is healthy, they probably won't have a 9-7 record to begin with.

I agree with your premise just lets not etch it in stone at this point in time. I am very skeptical that both Sean Lee and Tyron Smith play all the rest of the games. We need some blood donation from Witten to the team blood pool.

How exactly is Dallas "doing well in turnovers"?

They are not in the negative. In our warped mediocre is good perspective, that's outstanding.

Key of the matter is, the offense is not turning it over. The bigger part is of course that the defense is not consistent in forcing turnovers, especially against quality offenses.

Sounds like you're talking about the offense only, as opposed to the team.

I also love how this sort of stat suddenly pops up the week after they get one against the 0-7 49'ers.

But when you're differential is 0? That's not "doing well", that's treading water.

Yeah, but if you play with the intention of limiting turnovers, then it doesn't work.

At the end of the season, the most important factor is making the playoffs.

Just messing.

I would say injuries and momentum are important factors. I believe that we had very bad momentum by sitting a lot of players towards the end of last season. We started out so flat. It was terrible.

Yeppers, PRIME!
A .500 club don't see the playoffs all that often and that's a fact with the momentum head of steam thing,,, it was demoralizing to the very team itself, having to SIT on the bench and take a bite of that **** sandwich COACH GARRETT deemed worthy of serving up in that AT PHILLY final regular season game,,, it kinda flooded the boilerso_O

I don't believe we will be afforded that luxury this season.
